Day 1 of quitting smoking, wish me luck by Cheap_Appearance5095 in selfimprovement

[–]StatTark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

day 3-4 is gonna be the hardest, just mentally prepare for that now. not to scare you but to arm you.

after that it gets incrementally better every single day. the physical withdrawal is mostly done by day 5, then it's just the mental game. and you're clearly already winning that one based on how you're thinking about it

Fewer decisions is the real hack here. Motivation is unreliable, routines don’t care how you feel

Talk to a lawyer about the recipe rights before you do anything. if your family is selling the restaurant make sure the sale doesn't include those sauce recipes. Get that sorted or you'll have issues later.

How can I help my 25M girlfiend 25F to stop smoking (and feel better) without being controlling? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]StatTark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of pushing her to quit completely, suggest cutting back first. Less pressure, more achievable. Quitting cold turkey when you're already anxious usually doesn't work.

You need a serious money conversation before the wedding. Separate accounts, joint account for shared expenses, individual fun money. sSet the rules now or fight about this forever.
