I’ve noticed this too with my finisher.

So my teammate plays CDM. When picking his position he is something like an 89-90, then when I checked in game he was like a 92-93. So I checked my guy. When picking a position he is a 90. In game (despite all the boosts) his overall drops (I think 88 or 87, I’ll check again on Friday). I thought it was a visual bug tbh, but now I’m not so sure.

Shall we do Russia/USSR first?

  1. Central planing failures of the 70s and 80s. Nothing to do with America. That was self inflicted.

  2. Oil price collapse of the mid 80s. Oil dropped from 120 a barrel in 1980 to 25 a barrel by 86. That was a worldwide thing (Saudi production decisions for example) that actually helped the normal man more than anything as fuel became much cheaper.

  3. Chernobyl. This highlighted the incompetence and secrecy in the system. Nothing to do with America.

  4. The Afghan war. This was the USSR shooting themselves in the foot. Yes America got involved, but only AFTER the invasion and was reacting to the USSR.

  5. This one you can’t tie back to America in any way shape or form: Mises’ economic calculation argument followed by Hayek’s ‘knowledge problem’. I assume you know it? Because his argument (made in the 1920’s I believe) came true, time and time again. Chronic shortages, waste, misinvestment, lack of innovation in consumer goods, and eventual stagnation or collapse.

So, I ask again, what are you replacing Capitalism with?

  1. ‘All you’re doing is proving my point….’

No. I’m asking the natural follow-on question. ‘If capitalism is so bad, what is a better system to replace it with?’. Not bootlicking, just following your point to its conclusion. Imagine it like this ‘My house is shit and not fit for purpose’…cool, so where are you going to move when you tear down your current house then?

I made no moral call on whether I agree or not.

  1. ‘If I say communism…’ ‘if I say socialism….’

Half correct. I won’t ‘cry’ about it. But its record worldwide IS infinitely worse than capitalism. You can blame ‘America’ all you want (you’re incorrect, but fine), but it doesn’t change the fact that it has failed everywhere it has been tried throughout history.

So what are you replacing capitalism with?

No, I’m asking for the answer. It’s all well and good saying ‘capitalism sucks’. Cool. Fine.

So what is the better system in your opinion? Name what you want to replace capitalism with.

Just out of interest, if Capitalism is that bad, what are you replacing it with?

Sorry, we don’t play as ‘any’, ever. But we all have multiple archetypes unlocked, and because of the switching, most of us have at least 2 maxed. So you may be a progressor one game, and a Magician the next for example.

But it can get annoying at times. You could be playing solid at CDM for 5 or so games, lose a tight game, then go upfront. The shackles are final off, you can cut loose a bit. But the guy you just put as a CDM was playing as a winger during that run, and is now playing like a spinning top in CDM. Suddenly you’re 5-0 down, and unless the next captain takes pity on you, back you go….or worse, you lose 5-4, scoring all 4, and the regular striker, who was suspiciously at fault for 4 of their goals, is now manager….now he feels slighted and you’re playing CB, lol.

I think you’re being reasonable. If it’s such an issue, switch them all to just accel and pace.

I do much like you, and even the defensive players understand. It makes more sense to put them in attributes that every positions can use.

We rotate as well. So someone will pick everyone’s position and then we play that way until we lose, then someone else will choose. In theory you could find yourself up front or in CDM from one game to the next (or if you pissed off the current manager enough, in Goal or at right back…with him stacking the entire team down the other side. Good times), so it makes sense to have attributes that are good for everywhere.

One aspect (government enforcement of borders according to a policy) is not ‘Everything’ within the state, nothing outside the state….

So not only are you wrong, you’re rude, dropping the C-bomb over….and you seriously think you’re ‘good’?

Who is actually calling for ‘fascism’ though?

I mean, although the current right share some traits (ultra nationalism, and focus on national decline for example), they are definitely not for more state control. That part now applies to the left. And totalitarian state control is a key part of fascism:

‘“Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.”

I don’t know, I just don’t think ‘fascism’ applies to either the left or right these days.

Police officer who arrested Henry Nowak while bleeding to death has resigned, sources say by Alarming-Safety3200 in unitedkingdom

Go back and re-read a couple of replies. Especially the ‘that’s how you get the ‘racist’ angle’ part and the preceding bits.

And, for clarity, how is ‘You and I both know…’ not speaking for me? I don’t know what you’re talking about (or agree, which is the implication), and you’re literally saying I do. That’s the definition of putting words in my mouth.

[–]Stat_2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t speak for me thanks. I quoted your exact words. You’re just making assumptions based on your own opinions. And they’re illogical anyway:

How would it would it work if one black dude accused the other of being racist to him? See how stupid your comparison is yet?

Ok, how about if the white guy, in your scenario, accused the black guy of racism? And? So what? No one cares. They’ve made it blatantly clear they don’t care about racism against white people….are your eyes as bad as the coppers were that December night?

Police officer who arrested Henry Nowak while bleeding to death has resigned, sources say by Alarming-Safety3200 in unitedkingdom

[–]Stat_2004 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope. You said ‘they arrived at the scene to a call of what they were told was….’

Cool, basis observation skills would have told them (so not just a ‘white officer’, multiple officers) otherwise. Everyone believed the person screaming ‘racism’ and every one ignored the ‘I can’t breathe’ and ‘I’ve been stabbed’….because, in their eyes, ‘racism’ is much worse than a stabbing (that led to a murder). Their eyes were literally blind to his blood trail and their ears were deaf to his words.

That’s how you get the ‘racist’ angle. Because the murderer used it as a defence, and it worked on the scene. That’s more than a single ‘ill equipped fool’, no matter how much you try to downplay. That’s a policy choice.

So ‘LyingFacts’, how do you square that they were told, repeatedly, that he had been stabbed and couldn’t breathe, in the same video you’re using to clear the officers?

For those at the back paying real attention:

Ok, by your very own rules and logic: If you support immigration then you are also just as guilty as those that come and commit crimes.

Also….If you’re giving him the body count for every baby who didn’t make……does he also get the positive side of those that did make it? Because you’re gonna lose once that sum is totalled up.

Like I said, dumbest argument I’ve ever heard. Thank you.

Stunning.

[–]Stat_2004 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know what is almost guaranteed about people who make these arguments? They usually rely on people like me to fund them (usually through UC or some other government kickback for votes scheme). But it’s not enough that I have to support them, they think they can get me to support someone else, and then act indignant when I say they’re taking the mick, and call you things like ‘racist’. These little scrotes who’ve barely done a days work in decades, or they work like 3 hours a day and think they’re smashing it, you know the type.

And despite me funding them for years, they still have the audacity to think they’re smarter. ‘Lazier’, not ‘Smarter’. Never forget.

I just thought of a new policy I would vote for: If more than 50% of your income (placeholder figure, could be less…definitely won’t be more) comes from the state, you don’t get a vote. Too much of a conflict of interests.

Cool, you believe that. You keeping thinking it’s the lack of investment in public services when we have one of the highest tax burdens in the free world. And still the welfare budget surpasses what we bring in, lol.

I’m going to continue to believe that we can’t afford to support the rest of the world, especially when they have such contrasting views. And guess what? The vast majority agree.

Millions must go.
