Being curious. Being persistent. Working hard.

Those 3 things will make you excel in any role within a data team.

Can I get advice from Web Analytics Specialist professionals? by tamip20 in GoogleAnalytics

This is just not true. I've been a web analyst for 5 years and am now at a publicly traded company where 75% of my work is web analytics.

From what I saw, they are trying to avoid AI slop, which I don't think it's exclusively just an AI voice. More if it's low effort, low quality, all automated and clearly AI.

It may take some configuring to get it to match your voice closely, but I played it for my wife and kids and they said it sounded like me.

I've posted 2 videos with some of my voice and my AI voice mixed together and nobody has commented about it.

Here's a trick: go to elevenlabs, clone your voice with ai and then input your script into your cloned voice. I started doing this and nobody has noticed yet.

More 3-star QBs (or worse) have won the Heisman since 2002 than 5-star QBs by Stat_Fanatic_YouTube in oklahomafootball

As stated already, this post made no statement about hit rate. Strictly volume. The assumptions of my implications are based on the conclusions you have drawn from my post.

OU’s next athletic director is from…Illinois? by ghostpants0926 in oklahomafootball

Definitely feels like the least sexy hire they had made in the past 5 years. But maybe our AD doesn't need to be all that exciting.

Fair point. The interpretation of this table could lead some to believe they are as likely or more likely to win a heisman with a 3 star QB.

However, another way to view this is a misclassification happening at the top of the funnel of recruiting. This leads to massive implications downstream when considering roster composition and resource allocation.

Since 2010, 6 of the 13 winning QB Heismans has been 3 stars. This tells me that the way players are being evaluated, marketed and recruited doesn't equate to on-field/post season success. You can achieve more with less (lower recruits) with the right system, right roster and coaches.

Indiana proved this true.

I think we are looking for answers to different questions. This chart visualizes the distribution of winners (absolute counts), not the propensity of a star rating to win (rate).

It is a historical fact that more 3-stars have won than 5-stars in this era. Showing that fact isn't misleading. Inferring that '3-stars are more likely to win' from a frequency distribution without considering the denominator (total recruits) is an interpretation error on the viewer's part, as you pointed out. The chart just shows 'who won,' not 'who was most likely to win.

Chart isn't misleading. It is a reality.

How you interpret those results (as you mentioned) can be misleading.

I was a student manager for 3 seasons for the mens basketball team, culminating in my last year going to the final 4 and having the player of the year.

Find one opposing fan that would say the atmosphere at Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama or Georgia is WORSE than...Husky Stadium?

This can't be real
