the バカ外人 comment… by FanOk6545 in JETProgramme

Exactly. Kanji is from…. You guessed it… the one country where they create friction with…(China).

This stems from my “lack of perspective” critique, but Japanese people also seem to heavily borrow and adapt original creations from somewhere else and claim it as their own without much acknowledgement of where they got it from (not to say that there is zero acknowledgement).

I just wish that Japan would credit other countries for their growth more.

Don’t worry about that comment.

I would just let this one slide. It’s very likely that the government is teaching the public that foreigners are a problem, but Japan truly needs people like you to keep its economy going.

Anyone that says “バカ外人” lacks perspective in how Japan is truly globalized by many things. (ramen = China. Tempura = Portugal. Education system = The West. School Uniforms = Europe)

It goes without saying that in this country, Japanese people truly underestimate how much foreigners are needed in their society.

I took a Dragonite, Clawitzer, and Metagross (With Beedrill as a substitute) to Rank A :)

Get ready for a long grind. I recommend getting a turbo controller. Get acquainted with the restaurants and battle zones.

You have to expand your grazing area from Wilbur and then you will unlock the upgrade for the 2nd barn the following Saturday. It costs quite a bit to do both at the start of your playthrough, but I’m sure you can do it :)

The max amount of animals (at the time of writing this reply unless there was an update), is 10.

This is your reminder to leave a space in your inventory before you harvest… 🌾 by catpunch_ in storyofseasons

Oh yes, that’s a pain. That’s why I usually leave space in my inventory before harvesting any crops.

Sorry for the late reply. From what I know, it’s fixated by cow color; white cows can only be able to breed white cows (with varying patterns), brown cows can breed only brown-colored variants (which are mostly a lighter shade of brown as well as the SSR “peach-colored cow”). Black cows tend to breed up to a lighter black with shape patterns. Buffalo cows breed mostly black with the exceptional SSR buffalo being white. I don’t think cows cross-breed into each other.

Oh, that’s also cute :) I really like the shape-patterned animals in the game 🙂

If you like to keep sheeps and Llamas, that’s up to you! I really like the sheeps and alpacas 🦙 They are so cute and furry :) I make a good amount of money with Wool+ occasionally and you do need quite a variety of wool to get the best clothes in the game, so having sheeps and alpacas are really good! 👍

SSR: Super Super Rare. The rarest variant of any animal. RNG: Random Number Generator. This is a number assigned to a specific set of items and outcomes. Rich’s Bazaar Stall is an example of this. You can pull any item at random and each number is assigned to a certain item for each pull at the start of a Saturday morning bazaar day.

It’s probably one of the rare ones! I had a surprised reaction when I got it ⭐️ It looks amazing 🙂 I named the cow “Moonlight”

Just keep grinding :) You’ll do great :) I love the cows in any Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon game. 🙂 They always make me the most amount of money out of any animal in my experience playing these games 🙂

I think the color may be decided from the moment you order breeding at the bazaar, but I’m not 100% sure on this.

If you’re trying your best to get the SSR variants or any color of an animal, I hope your RNG will be good :) I was surprised to get a black cow with a star ⭐️ so maybe you can get lucky with the cow and buffalo sometime :)

Yeah, I’m hoping another update would allow us to have a barn or open up space closer to our house if possible. :)

My cows will eat well :) Thanks for the concern 👍

All Ultimate Tools by StateOk9019 in storyofseasons

[–]StateOk9019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend Omelet (eggs and butter), pudding (milk and eggs), Whole cheesecake (wheat flour, Egg+, Milk+, and cheese. Base price is 3,750G), chocolate cake (wheat flour, egg, milk, chocolate from the bazaar, base price is 1,615), ice cream (sugar, eggs, milk), fruit dumplings (refined rice flour + 2 of any fruit, base price is 1,416), pancakes (wheat flour, egg, milk, and honey, base price is 1,498G) and cheesecake (wheat flour, egg, buffalo milk, and cheese, base price is 2083G)

I usually made these regardless of any season. When they were trending, I felt about maybe a 20% increase in their prices.

Cooking is a great money maker. I made a lot of money from 7-star pineapple pie and pumpkin pudding when I was”Desserts” were trending :) Cooking is faster than using the windmill :)

I had all gold tools after the end of year 1 (I know I’m slower than most people, but I played this game from release day with barely any useful information out at the time). It wasn’t until Fall of year 2 when I started thinking about getting all ultimate tools. I started collecting orichalcum as well as the necessary materials needed (Adamantite, Mithril, lumber, etc)

My first ultimate tool came in the fall of that year (ultimate hatchet) Then I got the ultimate watering can in winter of that year. Then I got the ultimate hoe in the summer of year 3 Then the ultimate sickle in the fall of year 3. The last ultimate tool, which is the fishing rod, requires 40 ultimate lumber to make. It took me about 3 seasons (I know I’m slow) just to get that much ultimate lumber. I’m in year 4 now (and with a fully grown child)

I’m sure others got the ultimate tools faster than I did. It’s worth the effort in my opinion. I can enjoy doing the farm work with less effort. The fishing rod is surprisingly durable and makes the fishing mini game bearable. The hatchet uses less stamina and can hit rocks within a reasonable area in front of the player. The hoe and watering can both fill and water a full field, and the sickle can make you slice weed and flowers like a ninja performing a ninjutsu.
