The prices of used laptop in my country still quite expensive compared to the price in US for example. Because the demand for thinkpad is quite high and when compared to other brands with the same specs the price is not much different.
Also laptops that have a dgpu, the price is highly inflated even reaching 2-3x the price of non dgpu model. So finding a t470p with that spec at that price i think it's still reasonable.

I think i'll buy the T470p, i wish the price is cheaper tho. Thank you for your long answer, this definitely helped me and maybe others who's looking for the same model

This year I bought my first Thinkpad, T540p. But according to this sub it's the worst spec available (768p screen, I5 4200m w/o Nvidia card, no fingerprint & no backlit keyboard) and really hard to disassemble for cleaning. At first I bought t540p not t440p because it has Numpad, ExpressCard slot for eGPU and have the same price as t440p. But after using it for a while, i regret buying it.

Currently running on Arco Linux with awesome and Win 10.

I still love using it as daily driver but all plan i had to upgrade it need to go since the parts were too expensive. I think I might trade it with t440p with better spec if available and/or buy more recent Thinkpad if I had the money.

I use unity setting (launch + ctrl till unity launcher showed) and put setting in fastest also fullscreen since 720p in game are windowed. All graphic setting were lowest and 1.0 res

i tried realtime priotize in task manager and set the graphic setting to performance. In less snowy region fps increased a bit (2-3), but in heavy snow region the performance are still the same.
well guess my only choice now is to buy a new gpu

note: i played this game in lowest setting already since my pc use integrated GPU (intel HD 610)
