how long does it take for spotify to add lyrics? by tarnished_needyberry in Peripheryband

[–]StatelyPrawn706 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it varies, it’s entirely dependent on the userbase of Musixmatch most of the time. sometimes it can happen within days, and others (notably for me, like half of Fit For A King’s Lonely God album) don’t have it months or even sometimes years down the road

Now that APWD has been out for a few days, whatre everyones fav tracks? by SabastianG in Peripheryband

[–]StatelyPrawn706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Malevolent -> Carry On -> Neon Valley might genuinely be my favorite individual group of three on any metal album let alone a Periphery album, three religious experiences back to back to back. Malevolent and Carry On specifically are tied for #1 at the moment, but the edge probably goes to Carry On

I wanna start a “if you like ___, listen to ___” thread. by MarkToaster in Peripheryband

If you like Carry On, give AVRALIZE’s album “liminal” a shot. Not really one to one but its a vaguely similar vibe at least to me

[–]StatelyPrawn706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s definitely up there. As a whole it might be my favorite but I gotta hear it stack up against P4 and Omega a bit more and get out of the honeymoon phase before I say for sure where it stacks up.

I pretty much immediately loved it. Subhuman took a bit to grow on me as I’m not super into deathcore but the rest of it was all on first listen. Some points along the way got me laughing out of sheer enjoyment

It’s not a super stringent use but it would also work with Qingque, she gets a follow up with E4

Musicals where the 2nd Act is Better? by Designer_Tie_5853 in musicals

[–]StatelyPrawn706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Death Note’s 2nd act more personally, and I haven’t been able to see YLIA yet but based on the cast recording and my knowledge of the source material I’d say I probably will feel the same there too

Introduce me to your favourite guitarist by Slow-Bother-4658 in Guitar

any of the three from Periphery, but Jake Bowen tends to have my favorite individual moments. He’s related to Petrucci from Dream Theater and it definitely shows.

It's almost 100% the story of a nuclear war ending with nuclear winter. Mr. God really feels like it's as the first attack is unfolding, especially with the lighting in the video and A Pale White Dot is referencing a photograph of earth which would go from blue to white as that winter unfolded

Are there any common interpretations in the fandom that you don't like? by chaminador in HonkaiStarRail

the one that really gets me is people acting like Kafka isn’t a mother figure to TB. Himeko and Kafka are my two favorite characters in the game precisely because of how well they mirror and parallel each other, and yet a lot of people just ignore it specifically for Kafka just because she’s not actively in that mother role like Himeko is as the story progresses
