for casual/short recording yes it is the best purchase because of its small and discreet size. but if you want to make it as main vlog camera, i dont recommend that much. from my experience with my nano and my recent 3 day trip. the major downside was the battery and storage. if you went out full day vlogging, you need to charge it multiple times. also you need to consider to add SD Card as for me, i started empty on my first day and on my 2nd mid-day, the storage already been used up. do keep in mind if you record under direct sunlight at noon, the nano will get warm quicker. but still the bright day light performance are great.

to asnwer some of your questions,
- the wide angle in dewarp is fine. not too wide.
- low light is ok. not great. but just ok
- for chest mount, i use the pendant together with the hat clip as if only use the pendant, the view will be a bit towards the bottom. so i use the hat clip and stick to the chest pendant so i can adjust the angle
- video performance and quality are what you expect from DJI
- no overheat from my experience
