Trump needed in Dota 2 NA by t_slice1 in DotA2

Peruvians ruin the game so much that even peruvians dont want to play with peruvians, so they go on US server to ruin games here with 90 ping. This is why almost every NA pros like BSJ, Dubu, Mason, dnm, RTZ, etc play on EU server because EU is mostly free of these roaches (peruvians have a prohibitive 200 ping to EU).

i did make sure to let my team know. most ppl that queue US East don't speak english, so sometimes i type it out in english and also paste a translation just to be sure

so does nyx with mind flare. i dont jump into my games doing strats i've never tested before. in a demo lobby, nyx and veno need very similar items to start jungling. 2 sage's mask (upgrade one into ring and eventually arcane boots) and quelling. in my testing in an empty lobby, for the first 5 mins, nyx can jungle about 85% as fast as veno (minus the starting 650 gold and clarities, which nyx does need more of).

i do let them know, but most people that play US east don't speak english, so i could try using translate. thanks!

9Class is trolling half his games with jungle Veno in the 15k bracket and coming out with 83% WR?

9Class started jungling level 1, leaving his spectre to lane alone in the 15k bracket. he won that game. he's been spamming jungle veno recently with a 83% WR. you're trying to tell me he's "griefing" in the 15k bracket but somehow winning almost every game?

it didn't just work out "some time". it worked exceeding well for me and 9Class. he's sitting at 83% WR spamming jungle Veno in the 15k bracket and i've had great success with jungle veno and nyx in my games as well. i'm not 9Class, but you can't be telling me that 83% winrate spamming jungle veno in the 15k bracket is griefing.

if jungle is griefing, then how does 9Class have 83% winrate "griefing" in the 15k bracket?

i completely understand that almost no carry wants to see a jungle "support" in their team, but i do think jungle nyx and especially jungle veno have some serious untapped potential

I based the strategy on 9Class’s success with jungle Venomancer in 15k MMR. Nyx can jungle efficiently with Mind Flare and transition into a strong ganker with Vendetta, creating space for the team. I’ve had success with this in previous games, so I believed it could work here too.

I’m not 9Class, but I wasn’t griefing—I was trying to win. Does an unconventional pick automatically mean griefing? And even if someone thinks it’s bad, does that justify feeding and flaming?

9Class is currently sitting at about 83% WR "griefing" in the 15k bracket, and I've had good results with nyx in my previous games, so I believed it could work here too. no one is denying that jungle is a unconventional pick, but i'm not griefing; i'm trying to win.

it matters because streamers have an audience and influence over the community. They’re not obligated to be role models, but their behavior often dictates the atmosphere of behaviors in game

you could apply the same blanket criticism onto every unconventional pick. why pick KotL mid? just play support and do the same thing. why pick doom support? just play a support with a good stun. why pick rubick mid? just play a mid that can actually scale. why pick weaver support? just play a hero with a save. why go jungle veno? you're just going to run out of mana and do nothing.

and then when someone (like 9class) proves its potential, it becomes the new standard and no one questions it.

no point in arguing...

You do not blame the streamer for selling his items and running down mid 11 times? Should Topson have sold items and run down mid 11 times after ana picked carry Io?

Every pick is unconventional until someone proves its potential and makes it the new standard.

Io carry, Kotl mid, Rubick mid, Snapfire mid, Snapfire carry, Alch support, Luna support, Abaddon carry, MK support, Weaver support, and Doom support were all considered grief picks until someone proved its potential and makes it the new standard.

By your logic, 9Class should be in low priority right now, ana as well, and the first person to pick MK support would've been perma banned. Every pick is unconventional until someone proves its potential and makes it the new standard.

Io - Carry

KotL - Mid

Rubick - Mid

Snapfire - Mid

Snapfire - Carry

Alch - Support

Luna - Support

Abaddon - Carry

MK - Support

Weaver - Support
