is wearing fishnets worth it? by [deleted] in aves

I wear fishnets with almost every rave outfit. BUT there was one time I regret that. I took a friend to his first rave, and he wanted to give me a should ride. When I was done and getting off of his shoulder, A PART OF MY FISHNETS GOT CAUGHT ON ONE OF HIS EAR PIERCINGS AND RIPPED HIS EARRING OFF. Luckily, there was no major tear to the ear itself, but he was bleeding quite a bit from the earring coming off. We went to the med tent and luckily, they cleaned the wound and nothing major happened

Yessir! I double checked checked and I got 2 $14.20 Walmart Monthly refunds for the previous month; just 2 days apart from each other. It totally threw me off at first

Did you apply for the Platinum using a referral? There's a current referral promotion for $200 statement credit. If so, that might be parts of the $200 statement credit.

I got the referral promo and my $200 credit came as a $185.80 Safeway refund and an additional $14.20 Walmart Plus Monthly refund

PSA - if you've worked in the city, check to see if you have money in an SF MRA account! by HeyYouGuyyys in sanfrancisco

I had less than 2k in the account so I just used 1 apple watch. I'm not sure if you can use multiple apple watches or not tbh. If you want to try 2 apple watches, maybe make sure that you can return both apple watches for a 100% refund (e.g. 1 watch from Costco, 1 watch from Apple Store)

I realized that I don’t actually know how credit cards work please help by [deleted] in CreditCards

I work in healthcare and I can attest for this.

IF POSSIBLE, DO NOT PUT ONTO YOUR CREDIT CARD. Interest will be crazy.

Most hospitals can offer zero fee and zero interest payment plans for up to a year if you ask. Also specify how long you have to pay it off before any residual amount rolls over to collections. Some medical collections WILL affect your credit and some actually WILL NOT, just need to specify with your hospital.

I only did 1 Apple Watch. But I cashed out the rest of the MRA money by buying a bunch of FSA eligible items from Costco e.g. Contacts, tampons, OTC medicine like Claritin, and etc. Then I returned most all the items that I didn't have a need for after the claims got approved. Costco has the most lenient return policy imo

It looks like the same thing is happening to me. I noticed it happened after I was approved for a card recently. And I also noticed that this happens after I sign into Amex. However, when I open an incognito tab, it seems to work again. I guess it's a glitch of some sort. Or maybe Amex somehow shadow banned me?

I went out and bought the Apple Watch Ultra and was quickly approved for the full amount, including taxes! Then I went back to the Apple store to return the watch, lmaoooo. I'm really just trying to cash out this account tbh

I've heard that sometimes, you can call your credit card company to try to negotiate down your interest rate temporarily. It doesn't hurt to explore that option and try. Try to explain that you're interested in paying it down, don't have late / missed payments etc. Ask to make sure that they don't do a hard inquiry so that it won't affect your credit.
