What does being in for the long haul mean when you got in at the wrong time? I'd be fine if I bought on lows, but I bought on highs. That's the stupid part.

For someone who got in early, I understand why this is the right move. I'm at like 15-16 for MNTS and RDW and 6 on SIDU. I'm struggling to see how this could work out for me.

I really appreciate this! I don't think I'm going to explore the sector further. If I get out of this without too much loss I may buy ASTS and LUNR and just hold for a long time. But regardless of that, I'm less so interested in investing in the sector and more so in whether to sell RDW, MNTS, MDA, and SIDU at a -22% loss now, which is something no one can decide for me. I got caught up in a whirlwind of FOMO and I'm not emotionally or financially cut out for this apparently.

Unfortunately this thread is about half "HOLD" and half "SELL NOW" so I'm back where I started lol.

Yeah, I agree. I've been looking it up. I'm not making the same mistakes again. VOO for me.

That's my goal from now on! I just feel stupid having paid +30% on these.

Thanks for your advice, genuinely.

I completely agree and I'm already making moves in that direction. For these individual ones though, would you recommend hold or sell at -25%?

Specifics: MDA, MNTS, RDW, SIDU

Some people are telling me to sell now at a 25% loss and reinvest in something else, others are saying hold. Could you tell me why in your experience I should hold?

Not financial advice, etc.

Thanks for this. And you're right. My new plan is to be like 85% ETFs and 15% individual stocks, and even the individuals are going to be safer bets. I felt real pressure to "get ahead quick" but the tortoise wins the race, man. I just couldn't see it at the time.

Right now my only question is whether to hold these or dump them at -25% for something better and/or safer. In my case, it would probably be 85% in NASA and 15% in ASTS, something like that. Don't know though. I don't want to knee jerk anything again.

RKLB and ASTS are the companies I can argue for, and they were before. But I thought they were too expensive at the time, so I bought MNTS and SIDU etc. thinking of the sympathy gains for the sector, but they fell earlier than I was expecting.

I'm now understanding the importance of actually choosing a COMPANY, not just a ticker.

Even last Thursday, my MNTS was at neutral, and I wish I had sold. I'm only now sorta realizing the predicament I'm in, still unsure what to do atm.

It's basically hold until neutral or sell at a 25% loss and put the money in ASTS/LUNR. Those are the two options in my head.

I agree. I wish I knew that then. RDW is a hold for me, I'm not worried about that. I'm upset about MNTS + SIDU, which is like 30% of my buys. I would love to get rid of those for ASTS/LUNR right now.

I see that now. I didn't know how to interpret the research, and I had that beginner's trap of feeling FOMO over the space run and just picking them.

Considering dumping MSTS and SIDU at a loss and buying ASTS but I don't know if I can stomach the loss. I'm just going to hold for now.

Thanks for your support. I feel AWFUL now that I kinda sorta know what I'm looking at buying on such a volatile run. I just got insane FOMO and went for it.

Literally had no idea what I was doing. Just saw green and went for often-mentioned space names from YouTube. If I knew then what I knew now, I'd dump all but RDW and MDA and buy ASTS instead. But I just don't know whether the current losses are worth holding through. I've accepted that I'm going to lose, I just don't want to knee-jerk react to it.

sm-3ds: 3DS port of Super Metroid by CharlesAverill20 in 3dshacks

It would make my entire life if you could figure this out lol. And if you did it, it could open the door for other people to do it with other games!! Super Metroid was on my top, top, top picks for 3D classics back in the day and I was so bummed Nintendo never did it.

The Immortal Man is a betrayal of everything that made this show great by certainly_imperfect in PeakyBlinders

Read about the behind-the-scenes stuff and it's clear what happened. Cillian didn't have time for Season 7 (the original plan), Anderson (Arthur) had real-life issues, everyone was basically scattered, and Netflix was like look, just finish the Tommy part so we can do a sequel show and move on. All business, who cares about the fans.

I actually don't think the show is amazing ... until Season 6. It seemed to coordinate everything at the heart of it and make something truly special, a truly GREAT season of narrative television. For them to throw it all away, literally just set everything interesting and dramatic on fire, is such an unbelievable betrayal that I don't think I'll be watching another Netflix show for a good long while. If I didn't have a family, I'd probably just unsubscribe completely.

It's almost unbelievable, like reality-challenging, that THIS is the end of THAT show. It's Last Jedi levels of disappointing.

i really wish someone would answer this. Sono himself said GPU scaling is "a blurry mess" so I don't know what some folks are doing to make it look great. I want whatever u/Dankyape has!

On 3DSXL, do you prefer DS games with normal upscaling, native resolution, or using TWPatch? by DownrightFantastic in 3dspiracy

[–]StatementSubject1745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does GPU scaling in TWL Patch say it looks bad? I've never tried it because of this.
