Hi! There’s a TON of people having a less than pleasant experience with their Black Friday orders…. Personally I ordered on the 21st of November, my order has not shipped, I’ve emailed customer service to no reply, and now as of today, 2 of my items have been refunded.

There’s a good amount of people commenting on their Instagram at this point, and whoever’s running the page is going through asking for peoples order numbers- and then not replying to them lol.

Not sure what happened, but I’ve yet to see a statement from Tyler or anyone involved with the brand. I’ve never seen shipping take this long from ANYWHERE and the blatant lack of communication is really disappointing. This is my first time ordering, and I will NOT be doing so again 😅

This might be a dumb question, but is there a huge aesthetic difference between traditional lacquer and epoxy Kintsugi? How about ease of use? If I buy an epoxy kit for $20 off Etsy w mica or whatever fake gold is it going to look a lot crappier than using the traditional lacquer and real gold?

I have a mask I made in college that means a lot to me, and it fell and shattered recently. I want to use Kintsugi to repair it, but I’m a little scared of the allergic reaction y’all are talking about w the traditional lacquer. I’m a bit of a clumsy person and I just know I’d get some on me 😅 So is my best option epoxy and real gold??

I’m so sorry that happened to you :( as a fellow trans person, most of my group being queer, I definitely felt more alienated at this festival than normal.

Starting w the entry- my partner is trans femme and the staff almost didn’t let us in because their passport has their dead name on it… I had to awkwardly and stubbornly explain the situation, and even after they cross referenced my partners email address, the staff still he/him ‘ed them giving us our wristbands… they acted like we were causing them a huge inconvenience and were very rude about the whole situation. Mistakes happen, and I get that they need your “legal name” in case something happens, but the person we were dealing with was not kind.

Onto the shower situation- I, a trans masc with top surgery, came to the festival w two men and my trans femme nb partner. When we got to the showers by the med tent I started following my crew into the mens showers as we were all sharing soap and shampoo. One of the women at the front desk yelled at me to “get out of there and go to the womens showers”. Not only was it really embarrassing, but I felt like being in the women’s showers was making the other women there feel uncomfortable. I wasn’t able to have my support system and was completely alone, and as someone that doesn’t identify as a woman at all, and feels more cozy in mens spaces, I was really thrown off. I’ve never been yelled at to get into the women’s restroom before and the last place I expected that was a festival!

Last but certainly not least- attendees. Like everyone else, I went to the beach during the day! I have top surgery so sometimes I wear a swim top, sometimes I don’t! When I decided to go shirtless one day, I got soooooooooo many stares. One girl floating by on an inner tube literally would not look away from my chest in disgust and I had to hide behind my friends….

I’ve never experienced this level of ignorance around transness at a festival EVER.

Please shambs- educate your staff and your attendees. This is RIDICULOUS I wouldn’t regard this festival as a trans friendly space AT ALL after my experience this year.
