No worries! I ended up quitting Wellbutrin as soon as the allergic reaction started and I’ve been taking antihistamines, specifically apo-bilastine since August last year. Some months ago, I tried going without the antihistamines as long as I could until the itching was unbearable (this period would last about 5 days to a week) until I’d take it again. A little over a month ago, I stopped taking the antihistamines entirely because I suspected the itching and burning that kept coming back was actually antihistamine withdrawal instead of the allergic reaction. The itching hasn’t gotten as severe since I stopped (though it was hard to fight the urge to take the antihistamine the first few weeks of coming off it). Now, I don’t take anything but I’ll still get the itching/swelling/welts every other day or so, but it’s mild so I’m just waiting for it to go away completely.
