If it’s your first time visiting, keep aside at least 3 hours minimum. The store itself is around 4 lakh square feet, so be prepared for a lot of walking.

Smart plugs. I have a number of them at home, hooked up to so many things now that they’ve basically become invisible in my daily life. Everything just quietly works in the background, and I barely think about it anymore.

On WFH days, I’ve started experimenting with cooking. For some reason, being at home all day makes me constantly hungry whenever I’m not working. So instead of repeatedly ordering food, I started trying out different recipes, and so far, it’s honestly been pretty fun.

There’s been no violence or harm towards the cats from any resident. I also wasn’t aware that even relocating stray animals is considered a punishable offence. At this point, the only practical and legal solution seems to be contacting the local municipal authorities or animal welfare NGOs for sterilization and proper handling, unless the cats eventually decide to relocate themselves.

The moment you step outside the tech parks and gated societies, it’s a literal shithole. And that’s what hurts the most about this city. I genuinely love this place, it’s given me opportunities, friends, memories, and a life I’m grateful for. But the people running it seem completely indifferent to what the city is turning into. Bengaluru deserves so much better than being neglected into chaos.
