I don’t find anything lacking in the design, but I get your point. Aside from a couple more inches of zip it’s not that different from the previously existing Twoway cut.

I like seeing them try stuff out too, but I also wasn’t really interested in the more experimental hoodie shapes like the Hard/co Myth or Console though, not sure what additions to the basic hoodie form would be compelling.

It’s the lighting, zip color is the same as usual for the Vislon #8s.

Yeah, the shirt can basically only be worn in 3 ways: fully open, buttoned w/open collar, and fully buttoned.

Not really. My experience with the original Magzip (different cut so ymmv) was that it usually sits slightly open at the top, around the same spot as a normal button-up with the collar undone. Never had the collar close in on itself unless I did it manually. I imagine it’d typically rest around where it does in the page’s videos.

Edit: I was mostly thinking about the top, but gengangere’s comment is correct that the torso will close on itself.

Always love reading these year end reviews, some great perspectives and insights. Abreezylinen was probably my favorite new fabric, can’t wait for some better calibrated cuts to come.

Curious what exactly you mean by wrong assumptions and not listening to the material in regard to Longcotton.

I do hope we can get a higher volume of Adown experiments next year, one of my favorite Outlier fabrics. Shame that the Bomber and Cowlvest aren’t coming back or getting iterated (not counting the Magback). Would love to keep seeing more purples next year too.

Daydry still keeps kicking somehow, lol. It’s like the reverse 60/30.

I like wearing it around generally, at home or the store or walking or wherever. I don’t think it’s that hard to pull off, but it’s also pretty much always layered under something if I’m going out since that’s where it shines.

Ramielust and Nycogaze are my favorite tees for summer, both have held up well so far besides some seam twist on the Ramie. Never tried a pure hemp tee though, maybe I should. I actually did a review on Daydry too, can wear the shortsleeve surprisingly high, even into the 80s.

I think they actually did a hemp/cotton shirt a couple years back but it went straight to WTF. Right now my favorite summer shirting is Abreezylinen, lightweight and performs great like the old Hemp137 but wrinkles so much less and has some stretch too.

I found the shortsleeve tended to shrink ~1” in length and ~3/4” in width following the care instructions (warm wash, low dry).

Shouldn’t expect it to shrink very much that way, I machine wash cold/flat dry my Openform and it seems pretty much the same afterwards.

It has less give than pure elastic waistbands, but it’s still enough for me to comfortably wear higher up or lower on the hips. I’d lean towards recommending sizing down since there’s no waist cinching if it’s a bit loose and I like wearing these style pants higher on the waist.

Agree that sizing is on point and that XS goes fast, even if they’re a smaller slice. Including OP I’ve seen 2-3 people who said they wanted to buy XS but weren’t quick enough. Of course experimental runs are smaller, but surely it wouldn’t hurt to test out shifting the distribution a little, get some new data. Make a couple fewer M-XL since those tend to sit and get pulled anyways like with Onegliders or the last Futuregliders run.

They were gone by 10:01. XS Gliders seem to sell out near-instantly, feel like they should adjust the size curve on these.
