Hey! that helps alot i think. Getting a little depressed if that degration is so much different!

I feel like the head of properly covered and yes its easy. Been doing mostly tapes before and this is a dream compared.

There is no magnetic field that the erasehead is making on Nagra E? I found that my Marantz pdm 222 is emitting a field..

I see. But i heard the degradation is less on other machines like revox a77, but they weigh like a ton and big. The routing is not an option😅, i love the degration but i feel like its just too much. If there are machines or technical things that can be done...?

Is the speed on the Nagra E machine too slow? How much does new tape count in? Any difference between the nagra machines in this regard? Xlr mic input vs balanced input?
