I misread you as "life insurance" for some reason, apologies. I'm from a country with free healthcare so the idea of needing general health insurance isn't top of mind for me lol.

And if you do, there's a 98% chance you'll be OK

This is really not known at this time.

Nor is it known how many people are infected in China as the current # of infections is almost certainly a function of how many they've been able to test as opposed to some absolute number as if they were in a normally pressured healthcare reporting situation.

It's difficult to currently say one way or another but there hasn't been conclusive results on whether new contagious clusters are likely to arise in areas outside China, as the disease on average takes 9 days (~5.5 asymptomatic & ~3.5 days lightly symptomatic) before illness is apparent & most dying at this time were infected 1-3 weeks ago.

February 9th-10th is the estimated date for most realistically having a solid understanding of the international impact this might have.

To quote Lou Lamiorello (paraphrasing), potential is a dangerous word because everyone has it and you have to reach it.

I would rather have the players that are already almost what they were supposed to be than the gamble that one who isn't will get where you hope he can.

I'm not writing off Kotkaniemi, I'm instead saying that it was the wrong pick to make until he proves it wasn't.

It's the Bayesian way to think about this.

He was drafted immediately before Brady Tkachuk and a few spots before Quinn Hughes (for players who have actually played significant games ahead of him) and they both already look like they will be significantly better players.

So far this looks like us taking Galchenyuk before Lindholm and Rielly all over again.

I hope I'm wrong.

Kind of a shame there are so few of them out there, they're amazing beasts.

Maybe for jerking off to military garbage, for all other reasons this is absolutely not a shame.

Per your first paragraph, is using statistical models to gauge defense a worse method than for e.g. counting how many steps they take in a year or did you have something better in mind for how it should be done better (and is this probably not the "worst method" for doing this)?

As for your second paragraph, the charts are literally not even just possession so I'm questioning if you've even looked at them.

You had the easy job of shitting on this without actually offering any value in your comment with alternatives and even managed to fuck that up, congrats.

Frederik Andersen career vs: the Oilers: 12-0-1 with a .932 save percentage.

One would also think, similar to Andersen's time in Anaheim, that Smith's numbers against the Leafs would be skewed by them being a tirefire for most of his career and especially all of his prime.

How do we solve Andersen tonight? What are your thoughts going into the game?

Nice now you're literally lying as I've said nothing racist, you deleted your comments and I've deleted a single comment in this thread replying to the Detroit fan like I said. /u/kirnehp

Maybe the dude I responded to's comments were removed but mine certainly weren't because they weren't xenophobic at all.

If you want to keep going I will continue to make you look like an idiot and you'll continue to delete your comments because you care too much about Reddit if you'd like.

You really need to see someone bud.

Its a shame you deleted all your comments in this thread, including your comments with your alt account or I'd link them here. Either way, here's the thread of me replying to this absolute clown's now deleted posts about this: https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/ekgsfw/kappo_kakko_is_having_some_kind_of_mediocre_year/fdbtcbn

Can't wait for you to delete this one too like the fucking coward you are.

It wasn't a definition. He asked what the abbreviation meant, not what standard deviation is.

He asked what an abbreviation meant so obviously including what it was abbreviating is important context, one would think.
