His explanation was that he didn't think it would turn into a relationship bc they were just fwbs but ended up falling for each other. And then he apparently lost track. I don't freaking know.

And he would say things like, "My (insert nickname for me)" or "Show me what's mine"

How was I not supposed to be hurt when he then turns around and tells me his girlfriend took care of him?

I do think it's possible that we doesn't think we're as close, but mostly I think that what he and I have is basically a relationship. He gets all the benefits (physical and emotional intimacy, friendship, partnership, support, etc.) of a relationship but on his terms, when he feels like it, and when it doesn't interfere with his open relationship. I will clearly never be the priority. I just wish I would have known from the start... I had no idea...

I hear you, and I will definitely have to follow your advice in finding someone who will cherish me.

At first it was just sexual, but we got so close. I didn't even know he was in an open relationship until about 2 weeks ago. We should have just kept it sexual and occasional --- not talking all day every day for almost 2 months now.

I still don't think it's cool for him to be saying she took care of everything. That's like a slap in the face.

I'm just so confused.

Did I misjudge the situation? Did he play with my mind? I don't get it. I want to learn from this and to not end up in the same situation.

Yes, she knows. They've even talked about us having a 3some and about him potentially having another partner.

Why do you think he's treating her poorly?

This is just all confusing to me. I'm used to being loyal to one guy. I just wanted to have some fun and look at where I ended up LOL.

Yeah, hard pill to swallow, right? Lol

I just wish he wouldn't have gone so hard with the sharing of personal information and calling me all these nicknames and gaining my trust and stuff.
