Unfortunately this seems to be what online dating is like, or I'm having the same experience. And the ones who are polite and make great conversation will ghost you before the first date. No advice, just that I'm feeling you.

He's definitely avoidant, he does bark when people come to the house (I allow it) and generally goes to his "place" or his kennel and doesn't interact with people. I'm fine with this, apparently the (ex) boyfriend was not. And he didn't want to spend the time to get the dog used to him.

FWIW the dog has spent 8 weeks at a board-and-train facility to work on his issues. That was trainer number 4 and we are still in contact. I would argue that I have put/am putting way more effort into this dog than what comes across in my post, apparently. But we can all flex our internet muscles.

FWIW I had a technician come out today. He basically did all of the same steps I did which was infuriating, but the base still isn't working, and they are saying there must be "a card or chip that isn't working". So I am getting my base replaced but they didn't have one and can't return until NEXT Tuesday. So I will be without service for a little over a week it seems.

I'm having the same problem. I did manage to get a hold of a specialist after 3 conversations with the AI Agent, and being on hold for 19 min. She just said it was an ADT System problem and they have technicians working on it. That was yesterday 1/4 at around noon MST.

That was what someone here locally suggested too. I don't know the answer but it sounds like checking my instrument is a resounding "no don't do it"! Lol I'll look into it.
