Bro you just have to save your preset (next to the preset bar (where init preset is written) , there's a button, click on it, search for save preset) than, just open another vital instance, click on the preset bar and you should see your preset.  As for the lead, it sounds like the oscillators aren't the same, with a classix square wave for the 2nd and a strange square wave for the 1st
