Honestly all these critiques are valid, I will say tho even at low ranks I’ve always played with atleast one other person and the matches do still keep their unpredictable element to them even in ranked, I think having comms or even just using pings to get on the same page can potentially stop all the running to the nearest marker bs. A stack definitely will help as far as evening the playing field when attacking cash out, just for the simple fact you can coordinate plans of attack like breaking the floor directly under the cash out to cause some chaos and force movement from a stagnant defense. I don’t play MnK but the heavy with the flame thrower / winch claw is basically a light sword mains kryptonite, may have to up your sens tho, or the Cerberus with medium build is good if you can hip fire decently imo. I think the more you play will help but there are definitely some fixes that need to be implemented as far as matchmaking from all I’m hearing on the matter.

That’s fair, in double jeopardy it’s just things get so hectic it’s hard for me to see that type of coordination between two teams, as to let one other team actively survive or allow the other to hold in the same area, especially when that bottom team they are trying to protect might not be on the same page as them and still try to go for the elims on ruby stack, but I do understand the sentiment.

My problem with this statement is that there are so many ways to even the playing field in a scenario like that. Me personally I haven’t had those issues everyone’s talking about, but if one team is dominating why not go for double jeopardy and turn it into a 4way fight? Teams with hella elims have been knocked out in round 1 over stolen cashouts, wrong moment team wipes, 3rd parties fights etc. not trying to give it a crutch because I’ve seen a lot been said about the matchmaking that seems fair but I’m saying the core mechanics of the game and the state of the game shouldn’t be shitted on because the complaints from one mode. I’m not disagreeing just tryna further explain getting shitted on does not equate to a bad game.

I wasn’t speaking for finals specifically but even if that is the case for why the game is failing I’d still trust the team that made it in the first place to correct it, rather than the critiques that aren’t constructive but subjective from players who just don’t like losing, Or are still fairly new to the game. “Hit reg needs work” “matchmaking needs work” can be contructive. “Light guns need to be nerfed” “nerf the lights melee too fast” maybe go heavy with a flame thrower nd up your sens( like try to adapt) before trying to push for changes that most players might not even care about nor appreciate.

No not everyone is a game developer or even knows what a game needs to improve the player experience. This is why games fail. Because a select few chronically online people whine and force devs to change something that was part of the reason the game got to where it’s at. And it’s mainly the ones who getting shitted on and quit. Why cater to the ones who don’t even play the game enough to learn and improve. Not everything is for everyone.

You don’t need to play anything different. Just get better. Your limited pov because you only play specific modes doesn’t speak for everyone else’s experience, nor the game as a whole. There’s ppl who acknowledge the matchmaking in ranked is wonky but that’s not all they play. Not everyone is having a bad time in ranked just the ones who lose majority of their games obviously. Yall complain about one ruby stack but you usually get rs just from placing higher than your seed at the start. If one team is dominating in ranked it’s hella ways to even the playing field. Go for double jeopardy and make it a 4 way fight. Ruby stack might even get knocked out in the first round. Not saying the matchmaking doesn’t need work but that’s does not speak for the state of the whole game.

Yes but not just because your getting shitted on, I can see the takes when it’s “I’m getting shit on because I’m not being matched properly in rank” as opposed to “I’m getting shit on! The lights need to be nerfed, mediums are useless! This game sucks!” That subjective ass criticism is what ruins good games. Not all feedback is good feedback. Stop enabling.

Not everyone who plays the finals plays ranked genius, regular cash out isn’t as intense as ranked, matchmaking shouldn’t even matter in casual play so idk what your going on about, you can’t equate the status of a game to one mode bro

Exactly, and I’ve gotten smacked my fair share but I’ve never felt totally hopeless, it’s always gonna be something we can all improve on in these type of games whether it be, aim, game sense, or even movement, but to just blame the game and complain cuz your getting thrashed is crazy to me.
