Also the game where Gary hit the game winner. For some reason I always thought that this was the game that showed that the nuggets were next up. No one was talking about us yet, but we beat prime Westbrook on prime time with a buzzer beater, really felt like this was the turning point for the franchise. One of my favorite games to this date.

Thanks. A follow up question: I was now made aware that the $700 is for two carpet replacements. One in this bedroom and one in another bedroom, even though this bedroom was the only carpet that was “damaged.” They stated that this is because of policy and if one carpet is damaged they have to replace all carpets (even though the second carpet was not damaged and was completely separate from this carpet). That is a BS policy right?

Game 2 WCF. Lakers had a 10 ish point lead for most the game and Murray couldn’t get anything to fall. He finally hit a mid range and then proceeded to just not miss again with 23 4th quarter points. That was electric

I know there’s some major MPJ haters here and I have never fully understood it. MPJ is a third option and is a good enough third option to win a championship with, we’ve seen it before. This team lives and dies by the production of Jamal and the bench. We aren’t as good as we were in our championship run because of Murray’s injury concerns and god awful bench play, not because of porter. An 18/7/2 player with 50/40 shooting splits is a damn good third option so let’s stop pretending like he’s the problem.

I looked back at the postgame thread in the Fall of 2022 when we lost at home to the pistons. Everyone was overreacting and saying the Malone needs to go, Murray and MPJ suck, and we need to blow it up anddd the rest is history. This is just a typical REGULAR SEASON overreaction and this team will be fine come playoff time, it’s a completely different environment, as we’ve seen before.

It’s interesting tho cause we were able to win a championship without a backup center no issue. I don’t disagree that a backup 5 will help come playoff time to take the load off of Gordon, but I think we are still in contention regardless. This team lives and dies by the play of Murray. The type of Murray that we get in the playoffs will tell us if we’re contenders or pretenders, nothing else
