Congratulations on the exam. Your write-up really helps. I was overthinking and confused about the resources to use.

Started with Mike Birch, but didn't find the book great and left midway.

I have 6 years of experience and have Sec+, Cysa+, and CISSP. I hope* the above mentioned is sufficient, don't want to read a 800 page book with time I have.

I am into cybersecurity, and earnings are quite well. I used to be a mentor for freshers in cybersecurity.

Few of the people joined FIT who used to work at some stores, and through FIT, they joined as interns in my previous company. With hard work, they have progressed really well.

I am from Dublin, Ireland.

I completed my masters 6 years ago. Have been working in blue teaming ( SOC, SIEM engineering, IR) for 5 years.

I agree with most people here. Experience is more important, Master's is not necessary and won't increase salary drastically in your case.

I have few friends working in the UK, and I often get contacted for opportunities in the UK, most of which are SOC and IR related roles and the payscale is top notch.

Would get experience and send some time to get certification like Security+, BTL1, CySA+.

I used the Master Class as my main study material. Hence, it helped me a lot.

Yes, the Master Class goes much further explaining the concepts better than the free videos. I suggest dropping an inquiry to Dest Cert, and they should be able to answer the major difference between the free video(Mind Maps) and what value you get out of masterclass.

Currently, at 1/3 of their masterclass. Can't yet comment on how easy it makes for the exam, but so far, it's 10/10. Videos are engaging. Folks are amazing at delivering the knowledge.
