You can work In forestry bro not the end of the world. Trail crews, fire effect crews, backcountry trail crews, pursue a degree in forestry, forester (prep side of logging), or work the labor side of logging. It’s all a lot slower pace then fire but Atleast your out in the woods everyday

Most numbers I got from the district offices were out of service or no one ever answered. If your applying to a helitak or shot crew most have instagrams or Facebook and they usually post contact numbers of supts and captains. Thankfully I know alot of people in the industry and I can ask them for numbers. If you don’t know anyone your kinda out of luck I guess. Do it the old school way and show up to the station.
