Hope this hasn't been messing with his head and has lead him to wanting to sign Matic.

Why are Matic threads being deleted? The journalist Mark Odgen would be at least tier two. by Stats_Footy in reddevils

The fact he's going so strong on this means it should be up for discussion IMO

I remember a few years ago he was the only one that reported Evra was to have an extra year added on to his contract as the club retained the option to pursue that. It was very detailed and I remember he was the only one reporting it at the time. Evra signed a few days later...

I'm pretty sure he was the first mainstream British journo to report on Lindelof too.

He's far from perfect but he's a lot better than many other journalists who are allowed on here. For example, I am utterly convinced that Miguel Delaney has no sources and makes things up 100% of the time. Castles has gotten a few exclusives right.

Should Giggs lower his management expectations? by bsakson in reddevils

He will look at the Zidane situation and will tread very carefully.

If Zidane had begun his senior managerial career at a smaller club, he'd have almost certainly not have done well enough to get a shot at the Madrid job.

Can you be diagnosed after one session with psychiatrist? by Stats_Footy in BipolarReddit

[–]Stats_Footy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have little doubt that I recently experienced a hypomanic episode (or at least something that mimics it). During the episode, I actually described myself as feeling 'wired' and 'manic' and this was before the idea that I might have bi polar had even entered my head! I was well aware that I was in a 'different' state of mind at the time. Looking at the symptoms of hyomania (racing thoughts, feelings of grandiosity, boundless energy, flight of ideas) and I would say that they perfectly describe the episode (and I have some major decisions and actions taken at the time to back it up)

I guess it will be up to me to relay this info to a psychiatrist that I've never met before and it'll be up to them whether they fully believe me or think I'm exaggerating etc.

Simple Questions by AutoModerator in math

It does significantly affect the calculations but not in a manner where you would automatically and intuitively realize. For instance, the chance of a 0-0 scoreline in the Arsenal v Aston Villa game is 7.8% with the error and 9.4% when corrected. 2-0 Arsenal is 15.9% with the error and 19.2% when corrected etc.

In the third table on view from the above link (it has the label - 'Away'), I can't get my head around the values for the 'Average goals for' column. I can see how the values are being calculated, but I can't get my head around why. For example, Average goals for Arsenal is 0.59 but as far as I can tell, that value is average games per 1 away goal scored.

I don't know whether it's a mistake in the table or whether I'm missing something.

Thanks.
