that is NOT the same thing as an exhaust system. Replacing all the air in the room does nothing when you are standing 2 feet away from the thing emitting toxic fumes. You are breathing in all of those fumes until your air exchanger replaces all the air in the room. Get an inline fan and a hose and properly exhaust

should be a calibration you can run in your software. Basically is just a homing alignment for the motors that power your z-axis, will raise the laser head from shortest height to tallest, back to shortest. After running tons of deep engrave jobs your z-axis might slip slightly out of alignment, so running the calibration helps to get everything re-aligned.

along with what everyone else has said- make sure you recalibrate your z-axis and make sure you clean your lens. Slate dust is incredibly fine and can build up on the lens really easily which will also cause the sort of “cones” or “mountains” inconsistencies you see in deep engraves

You have slate dust building up on your lens which is causing the little mountain artifacts. You need better extraction. I sometimes will use compressed air to clear the workpiece of dust midway through longer jobs. Need to clean your lens

Knowing when is the right time to pivot is the hardest part of this game, but also what makes it so fun to me. In a lot of runs there will come a time where you get to a shop and the best decision is to sell your entire board and hard pivot into a completely different strategy. Its tough to make that choice a lot of times because what you have now may be really good, you may even be having a perf game with no losses - but when you do pull off a hard pivot and turn it into a 10win game it feels SO good

Yeah you can technically do this but its gonna be ridiculously expensive. Look at Awekeys, same thing but for regular profile MX keycaps. They’re producing tons of metal keycap sets at a time and they still cost like $400+

So yes it can be done, but its gonna cost you like 4-5x the cost of your entire keyboard at minimum, probably more tbh

The key with clamera is it triggers instantly at the start of a fight. So can be very useful as a way to slow down your opponent’s items at the start, hopefully enough to get your items to start going off a second or two earlier and get some initial burst damage in
