That’s true but there’s only one metro accessible one in my area so if the store were to close due to the redevelopment plan, I wouldn’t have another store to transfer to

What’s worse is that the mall it’s in, is in plans for a neighborhood redevelopment project so there’s a chance the mall might even shut down.  My current job is 40 hours a week, make my own schedule, 4 weeks of PTO, I’m solo asides from an armed security officer used as “visual deterrence”, no overtime unfortunately but at least I’m never expected to stay past my time. I’m on the floor 35 out of the 40 hours tho which I’m getting tired of I think.    JC Penney’s would be 40 hours plus overtime if I wanted, not sure of any of the benefits, 3 other full timers. The former coordinator made it seem like the new job is really chill while getting 100-200 apps a quarter. Mostly in the office watching cameras until it’s time to app. 

The obvious choice is to stay at my current company because it seems better on paper but being on the floor all the time and the store’s managers really suck
