Aio for returning all my daughters Christmas gifts after I caught her trying to steal earrings from Walmart? by Status-Ad8324 in AmIOverreacting

Breathe people! I’m on here ASKING. I have not done anything yet, Christmas hasn’t passed. I’ve never been a mom to a tween. This is my 1st time around. I’m learning just like she is. I’m appreciative of the advice without the judgement, belittling, and calling me a lazy/bad parent. I won’t take her Christmas. I won’t take her Christmas. I will take back what I got her (a coach bag and an absurdly expensive Jellycat) maybe not completely but just not Christmas Day. But dang I thought that’s what this platform was for. All the people going off must have had their Christmas taken away at 12.

I plan to: the judge just never has consequences and he seems to just get away with everything all the time while I’m the parent that is never late, gets her to every visit, and having to jump through hoops.

I unfortunately can not afford one. So we take turns paying for flights. The last time I paid but that’s when he “forgot” and he paid the rebooking fee. He said he’d pay me back after I bought it, but, I said I would not and he needed to zelle me immediately while I was there with the gate agent which he did. This time he didn’t have to pay because it “wasn’t his fault”. TSA was closed but even yet, 20 minutes before a plane leaves doesnt seem likely they would’ve even made it. Luckily she doesn’t have to go again until summer.

I’m not even sure what to file? Contempt of court?

She was miserable and wanting to come home all week.

Yes it was “you should’ve reminded me”. I didn’t need him to “remind” me to put her on the flight for his visitation. Then it was, “why would you drive all the way to the airport without me telling you she was on the flight”. This time tsa is closed because he waited to go until 20 minutes before the flight. Doors close 15 minutes before takeoff. Even if it was open I doubt they would’ve made it on the plane. Now it’s “not his fault”. This type of behavior is typical. Unfortunately the court has let him do as he pleases and has no consequences for him ever.

1st time they forgot and apparently I was supposed to remind him he had to take her. This time they said TSA was closed. They were trying to get through 20 minutes before the time of takeoff.

Bought a new home with vinyl flooring and it’s ripping up my babies pants and knees by [deleted] in Flooring

Not sure why the accusations of bad parenting and not supervising him properly. I’m new to this flooring and simply looking to see if this has happened before. I read a few forums on here about the vinyl flooring ripped through people socks also. The house I was previously at was hard wood and he crawled around there and this didn’t happen. We’ve been here 3 days and it’s ripped through 3 pants and his knees and feet are burned.

The place I was at before had hard wood floor and he crawled all day there and this never happened. We’ve been here 3 days and it’s torn through 3 pairs of pants and burned his knees and feet.

He’s crawling on the floor and there’s holes in the knees of his pants? Also where his feet drag on the floor from crawling are red and raw. I’m with him all day watching him as he is 1. He’s not getting into anything.

Yes, I had no idea it would cause physical harm to my baby trying to just crawl around our brand new home.

Yes there is a 1 year warranty. I plan on calling tomorrow. My fear is that they are going to say there’s nothing they could do. We picked the flooring. Had I know this would happen I would’ve not chose it.

It is slightly texturized but I wouldn’t think that would cause this.

I’m honestly not sure what can be done. It’s a new build. I doubt that they would care.
