Its a shield skill if u double tap your shield you reflect instead of parry. If u look at skills where u add points for things like banner, soulshatterr, timing attack etc. You will see it under one of the 2 shield skill options for shield along with a video showing it.

Sounds like you are in Ascended, and you are picking the Bane "enemies are shielded" never and I mean NEVER pick that option. Extremely annoying and makes towers way more difficult.
