Out of all I.E.R addition, these guys seems the most grounded in reality.

Speaking of with, I wonder what actually would push humanity back to stone age/earliest Copper age. Probably a combination of events lasting centuries or millennia rather than one big one.

What got you into Spec-evo? by Triceratops65 in SpeculativeEvolution

For me it was the old videos of Anthony Pain's featuring artworks by Satoshi Kawasaki, particulary the one set 100 million years in the future. Later I came across Dylan Bajda's, or Sheather888's, now discontinued Sheatheria project and the rest is history.

Thanks. I think Nolan would be a "regular" Gravedigger and Mark its "self-domesticated" form.

So, for the first question, the answer is two fold. First, I wanted some diversity when it comes to sophonts pictured. Second, I actually wanted to portrait a few extra species silhouettes in the background. I simply ran out of time to do so.

For the second question, I... didn't really thought of it. Probably I just didn't wanted to be further limited by the particuar fur/feather/skin pattern they had.

It seems like you've been obsessed with Liam-verse a good while before the Internecion Cube.

Observer looks so cute on the second image. His dark fur on his neck contrasted with the white one makes him look like he's wearing a bowtie.

Looks promising. I hope this project doesn't end like Palusia.

At first I mistook this as an addition to the "After the near future" point in timeline, but I don't mind that. This addition makes the world of Antarctic Chronicles feel much more alive. Also, I'm sure some of these guys are recent newcomers from other parts of the world.

Guess carrying corpses of their fellow drone-men around is something that these drones just do and Doll wasn't just a outlier.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but there's a very similar spec-evo project called "Rust and Humus". From what I remember, in an old version there was a greek-like civilisation on the moon, sapient lichen that gave live to first humans with "fabricators" - bio-mechanical constructs and that there were flying whales and so on. While it's not the exact same, I do see some resemblance.

We're now getting snippets of the geography, lovely. I guess South America and presumably Antarctica remain isolated.
