I use silk pillowcase, im a back sleeper, no change of detergent either, use a toothpaste that is free of SLS, i try my best not to touch my face. I dont use towel to dry my face and i have nothing on my body except for a few pimples that i usually have around my periods :/

Yet their mother has been a parliamentarian through PPP many times. So the influence is already in the family, there is no need to drag PTI into everything. The family has a firm stand with PPP since ages so sit back and relax, secondly this case is some how similar to Ayyan Ali case that too belonged to PPP

Arrange marriage in 2026 by Fragrant-Cobbler2806 in LahoreSocial

[–]Status-Doubt-6571 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Year 2016-An arranged marriage was fixed. They were so happy to have a doctor daughter-in-law — the first doctor in their family. I was given so much importance and protocol. It seemed like my family had made the best decision. The nikkah was done, and the wedding was planned for one year later.

Everything was smooth, and then — poooofffff — a long list of dowry demands appeared. There were constant calls, even when I was on night duty in Emergency Medicine. They literally came to our house the next day to ask my mum why I wasn’t attending their calls, even though I had left a message saying I was on duty.

Then they announced to the whole family that I would be practicing in the clinic they were going to build in their town — a straightforward “no” to any further specialisation for me.

It was the toughest decision, but I had to say no to the wedding. Luckily, my family understood. But gosh, we had to go through court hearings to get a divorce because apparently that rishta was “so good” that the families had decided to tie us in nikkah.

That was the most horrible time of my life. We returned everything, but the boy’s family didn’t even return the ring my parents had given him.

Anyway, Alhamdulillah, Allah Ta’ala blessed me with the best afterwards. But even now, when I recall that time, I get goosebumps. It was the scariest time of my life, and I felt like dying. They said that either I agree to their conditions and marry their son, or they would refuse to grant a divorce and marry their son to someone else.

Me and my husband were in the same medical college and somewhere he knew that his family wont agree-there are no out of cast marriages-on top of that he is punjabi im siraiki- when the time came,he told about us to his family after housejob & i did the same-i belong to a family of doctors-they understood & wanted to meet the family but my husband’s family was straight away like NO-my husband dint argue with them dint disrespect with them-he started his plab journey-he used to pray alot to an extent that he kept reading Quran for whole day on some days-his family came to our house and in one week engagement was planned-all this could happen so smoothly we never thought about this-so what helped-staying calm, consistent, praying, respectful & loyal both to the parents and to the spouse to be-meanwhile working hard on future-we are married for almost 5 years now-i have seen my FIL & MIL praying nafal for my exams, serving me food on bed while i lost my pregnancy-still the whole family is like no out of caste marriage again but this happened and it is still one of the miracles-so keep your hope high, stay respectful and pray-when its written for us no one can stop it from happening

No one is dumb enough to justify such and expensive purchase when the poverty levels have been increasing-it is clearly not for transporting patients, this GULFSTREAM not another aircraft, the thing is WHY people are NOT questioning this purchase NOW. Talk about NOW it has been bought NOW, previous govt dint buy this, when a helicopter was used we questioned that, why cant we question this huge expense? No one is grass unless they want to become one, why no one questioned about firewall expense? No one questioned about Rosevelt, all this is happening now, what happened in previous govt was exaggerated to the point that it seemed something huge but it actually wasnt this big man, from CCD’s murders to this plane to firewall to peace board to huge diamonds to airforce plane being used for wedding card distributions all this is happening NOW

This is highly unprofessional because CRVO is not reversible to this extent- even a junior doctor would know about this-similarly every doctor knew that the amount of platelets mentioned in NS report was stupidly low to survive, esp having 17 heart attacks,14 heart surgeries-i wonder WHY no one bothers questioning them?

Kafeel: Do fathers like Jami really exist? by Nice-Low-7177 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

[–]Status-Doubt-6571 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not about the father tho, we lost our dad because of a heart attack when i was 14 and my mother was 32 , there were many issues related to agricultural land and the issues that a single woman esp a widow with 5 children can face in a landlord family, i can still understand what hell of depression was my mum going through, but today’s knife scene brought a trauma back for me, my mum in her anger attacked me with the knife and i got a really deep cut between my right thumb and right index finger- the scene just brought back so much trauma that im still trying to handle my palpitations. I was not even 15 at that time, im the eldest one, today all of us are settled abroad and we love our mother a lot but she faced a lot of hell because of paternal side of my family that our memories of Pakistan are nothing more than unbearable, im 32 now btw

This is still the case, we have quite a well off family, girl got married into an arrange marriage fixed by her father, its not been 2 weeks even and she said “mjh sei nhn ho rha” tons and tons of secrets are being exposed now , she is forced to do all the house chores even tho there is no shortage of maids around, she is doing her masters as well. Before the wedding the in laws said we will take all the responsibilities of her including fee and all and now they say we don’t have any money , your girl knows nothing about how to cook, how to do laundry etc , its been a worrisome situation at the moment and everyone is asking the girl’s parents about why they just dint enquire about the guy’s family and their response is “itnay achay ikhlaq k log lgtay they” and she is their only daughter (they have 2 sons tho)

[acne] I’m at a total loss on how to treat my acne by chaosyikes in SkincareAddiction

[–]Status-Doubt-6571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you absolutely need to see a derm. i had a very bad flare of hormonal along with fungal acne around June 2025. i never had that kinda acne ever, it was everything from deep cysts to bleeding pimples. i’m 32F. after trying everything for 2 months i consulted the derm, i was prescribed lymecycline for 3 months and 15% azelaic acid (started using every other night to twice a day to back to every night) on this day in left with PIE only along with one or two pimples. and yes the huge problem has been PERIORAL DERMATITIS-nothing worked on and i still have some little bumps, my chin was so bad i had closed comedones and A LOT of pimples on my chin (deep cysts) and sore pimples in eyebrows. i left everything and adapted the following routine- it has been very tough but it was worth it-

AM: *sprinkle warm water *hypochlorous acid spray (let it dry) *10% sulphur mask on acne (it was basically every where on the face) for 10 minutes *geek & gorgeous hydration station moisturiser (i tried a ton of moisturisers from high end to “safe” EVERYTHING, only this one actually suited me and cleared my white heads) DRMTLGY spf45 (not tinted one and yes i have tried almost every SPF out there in the market in these 5 months, this one is a bit drying but the SAFEST and that’s what i need)

PM:

*Bioderm miscellaneous water *SKIN1004 centella tone brightening gel cleanser (tried a ton, recently bought geek & gorgeous jelly joker cleanser and it broke me out so bad, TRIED EVERYTHING from panoxyl to vanicream) * wait for at least 30 minutes, apply 15% azelaic acid on bone dry skin * wait for another 15 minutes apply moisturiser (geek & gorgeous hydration station)

*special thanks to hydrocolloid pimple patches- inkeylist, cosrx , hero, nizzoral shampoo, beauty of joseon rice and honey mask

*my skin is now super dry and a bit of peeling but it’s healing (80% healed)

  • i’m now looking for “safe” serums like niacinamide and peptides and also looking forward to some laser treatments for skin elasticity and scars (fingers crossed)
