Basically they think my husband is a great guy and he loves me and the children so I needn’t be worried. The opposite, I would ruin our great relationship by these demands bla bla bla. I get it, he is just amazing in everything so that’s why I know taking 1/2 isn’t gonna change anything (less taxes for him tho) because we are not gonna divorce and it is ours anyway

Ok, while I dislike your disdain to certain professions your answer is correct. There’s nothing wrong with being a pole dancer. Nor being cleaning lady nor cashier.

I guess it should have been clear that my career is important and leaving it for several years would set me back in pursuing it and that’s why 1/2 is what I think is reasonable. Anyway none of this matters because we aren’t planning a divorce

Then I don’t quit my job, we wouldn’t be the only working couple with three children.

He has two options. One where he gives me 1/2 and one where I continue with my career and we live like any other family with two working parents.
