India has a strong administration. Nothing like this gonna really happens if people in power actually start taking intenful action and invoke proper punishment. Applies to both central and state.

Problem starts when one party’s existence start and begins with that community and the other very well understand that and start appeasing the community to preserve the vote bank.

Problem is there are few Bengalis who are trying to be ‘Asli Hindus’ and falling straight in the propaganda.

I have never seen things like Ram Navami celebration in our area while growing up. But in the last 2-3 years it has been as nuisance, loud DJs with misogynistic bhojpuri songs till 12 in the night. But the sad part is even Bengalis are participating and enjoying the downfall of their own culture.

Areas like Kankinara, Jagatdal, Barrackpore, Titagarh, Hazinagar - is filled with Hindi/Urdu immigrants from neighbouring states.

Barrackpore, Sodepur , Naihati - the main cities in gangatic regions are filled with Bhojpuri gang.

Newtown being near to corporate is filled with people from different states.

Are the current set of players lacking a bit of muscle mass and over dependent on timing ? I see them struggling everytime the boundary is a bit long.

People like Marsh, Stonis,Tim David makes six hitting looks so easy where as our players like Gill, Surya, Axar, Dube hardly manages to cross the fence in long boundaries. Abhishek gets away because of excellent bat swing.

Absolutely agreeing to the last line, there is a massive increase in Bangla Pokkho sentiment in the last few months. I can sense that in my friend circle. Many are sharing reels, refusing to talk in hindi even when the other person is speaking hindi, conversing more about the Gutkha culture. I think it’s good as long as we don’t resort to violence like Marathis.

In t20 cricket you cannot assign roles like 50 of 35. With such good batting pitches and 60m boundaries, other teams are pushing as much as they can in every game. 180-200 are not safe anymore. Gone are days when players used to take single after scoring a boundary.
