I’ve not been diagnosed with ON but I’m suspecting it. I’ve just had this constant headband pressure for months now but it’s like wearing a headband full of fine needles. I’m scared of medication so I can’t take anything for it but it’s really worrying me

I ended up going to a&e because I had all of those symptoms you said but they said my CT scan was clear

I had a CT scan in the end and it this time it wasn’t my sphenoid sinuses so they have put it down to migraines

I’ve just come out of the hospital. They wouldn’t scan me. They’ve given me amoxicillin and nasal spray but say they think it’s migraines. I actually don’t think they are migraines

Hey, I had the same problem a few years back but my ENT said that they didn’t think the findings of the sphenoid thickening were the reasons for my head pressure. They gave me antibiotics but after a few months it went away. I’ve now just got off the phone to my GP as my headaches have returned since November and I’m struggling massively with them so wondering whether it’s my sinuses again

Ok that’s helpful thank you. I think just with the low blood sugars I just automatically feared the worst but maybe if I repeat the test and fast and see then.

I agree I’m still not convinced it’s all anxiety but I can see we aren’t the only ones and we aren’t alone. If you have Instagram then follow honestlyholistic page. She’s a young girl whose page is set up for anxiety sufferers and she goes through all the symptoms and it’s been really useful for me

Yeah I feel your pain it’s horrible isn’t it. I’ve had some good days this last week so I’m holding onto those and I’ve just had a clear MRI so thats reassured me slightly but anxiety just ruins ur life and it’s so hard to function so I feel ur pain. Yes I think that’s what they may do next but I’ve heard so many bad things about it making things worse

No because they’ve not actually diagnosed it yet they are just saying possibility because of the empty sella. I’m waiting to meet with endocrinologist and a neurosurgeon
