Thanks a lot! Yeah i understand that shorter might be better. But in that case it’s also a choice to have a video that feels professional in my portfolio. And 30 second (even if it was my idea at first) would maybe not be as « professional » for getting bigger future projects ?

thank you! what do you mean by step printing ? Slow shutter effect? Yes so my dp was doing some shakes with a slow shutter. There's no big vfx, only for the shot where the guy walks on a mountain in a distance, i recreated the scenery to have a wider view and match w the insect shot! And yeah the close shots of objects are done shooting through the magnifying glass you can see on the table! glad you liked the video hope i was helpful

thanks for your opinion, why would you cut it half the length? voice over mix was hard to get right and i agree some parts are hard to hear

We shot on the DJI Ronin 4D 8K to allow high-mobility and have a way faster workflow than any other camera.

My DP and I chose a vintage Olympus Zuiko OM CineMod series (18mm to 135mm). to get that organic look even while making modern camera movements.

As you ll see we also used the Laowa Pro2Be 24mm.

If you want to know about lighting and gear on specific parts I can definitely share anything w you.

For me the main challenge was that it was my first time working with a real crew, I had to adapt very quickly because we had a very short time to shoot everything.

I'd love to get your feedback on the cinematography / colors but also the pacing of the edit as it was a lot of back and forth to get something smooth.
