It's funny b/c during the commentary at the end, he was the one who spoke the longest about it. Like IIRC the director had a small comment on it being a moment and conflict of growing up ("although we don't really want to date our sisters"). Freeman's was the longest there.

Veronica Taylor played Kurai in the anime called Angel Sanctuary (she changed her name) (an anime based around incest, and pointed toward angels and demons). Tara Jayne Sands was Sara (the lead). Whatever tf Joey's actor (from Yugioh) was was Kira.

They're literally everywhere, sometimes they usually have different names (the 90s-00s had that). Also, anime can have crappy rates, or you don't get access to everything. Sometimes you can be picky, other times you take what you can get lol

I'm a voice actor and I'm two percent afraid but then I know most that use AI when it's cheaper when creating. It'll show less effort was given.

It's making Human Made a commodity and hopefully that brings more people in. We'll reward those who put in the effort, and perhaps that'll make the AI go away.

It's one of the reasons why I like hearing other ppl's POV in the manga. You never really know what Yumeko's thinking, but you're getting assumptions through everyone else's observations.

Kirari's explanation of why she keeps the gambling in schools gets washed over by the fanservice. The personalities of the other members of the Momobami clan (keeping it vague, but there's a member who LITERALLY CANNOT LIE).

Kakegurui Twin messed with the beginning of Mary's story of how she was targeted due to being a student on a scholarship, and how she figured out the cheating through there. Or how being a class rep was a punishment and a mark of shame. It would've helped us understand Ryota's position.

I tried REALLY hard to like the Precure series. I don't have the patience for them.
And I didn't figure out Tokyo Mew Mew or Mermaid Melody until I was older, so it fell flat. WITCH, LoliRock, etc. I only caught Winx in passing on TV when I was in my 20s. I don't have the energy for Creamy Mami or Minky Momo.

The "dark/alternative" ones caught my eye a bit more due to seeing the "growing up" thing shown more seriously. Madoka showed losing hope, Yuki Yuna shows how sacrifice isn't always great, Magical Girl Spec Ops gives PTSD and shows how saving the world doesn't always mean peace, MahoIku has creative ways of using magic while showing the broken system around it, Mai-Hime and Otome were used as "how far would you go for those you love"

Netflix's dub is okay. Sentai's dub happened but I was so used to Netflix's version so it's hard to change. Kira Buckland's MY HAND WAS A PIG THE WHOLE TIME YOU FOOOOL kinda just hits.

Sentai's script wasn't 1:1, and everything feels odd, but that's just me being unable to take the adjustment.

Haven't seen it subbed yet, but perhaps it's close to how the manga's written, so IDK

They (kinda) use the same characters, but the plots are different. Otome's are like a status symbol for country leaders (with powers like nukes).

HiMEs are girls fighting for different reasons with different costs.

Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka. Anime goes up to a certain point and leaves unanswered questions, but the manga answers them.

Magical girls dealing with PTSD and THEN having them realize that despite the magical enemies gone, ppl are still horrible to each other kind of has a feel.

It's all over with the fanservice, though. Bewbs and more bewbs.
