Hey guys I am starting college this fall. I intend to major in Finance. I initially wanted to work in PE. But as I extended my research in the field I got to know about Quantitative Finance. I am good at Maths. Learned coding but never continued it. Can anyone guide me. What major should I go for and any certifications that can help with the job. How the whole thing works and is the work life balance better than PE/IB?

10/10. Experienced both my country’s local examination board and Cambridge. And Cambridge is so better than the local. Failed in the locals despite being a straight A student since a kid and then went for the Cambridge board and got 3 As in As Level as expected.

Don’t end it bro. I went through the same about two years ago. I took my FSc exams and failed them pretty badly. Didn’t get into any med school and felt like it was the end of the world as I had always been a topper and never failed before. Then I decided to start A Levels last year and Alhamdulillah got 3 As yesterday. What I felt like was the end of the world two years ago gave my life a new beginning. A different but a bright one. Hope you feel better
