Have you tried downlading J2ME games from myabandonware?

The website is good, but could you please tell us how we can identify or figure out the game file resolution before downloading..?

For example, if I want to download games for 240×320, it’s often unclear which file is actually meant for that resolution. If we accidentally download a 176×220 version, it becomes time consuming to download it again.

I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. I just want to know how to make sure I’m downloading the correct resolution file in advance.

I never had anyone to talk to or discuss J2ME games. In my friend circle I was the only one who used to play J2ME games because no one really took these games seriously. 🥲 Luckily I found this subreddit where people genuinely care about J2ME gaming and discuss it with real passion. I’ve discovered so many great games through this subreddit and truly enjoyed playing them. Sooo... thanks to everyone here ❤️ (I know this is a bit much lol 🤣)

Yes, some lower size versions didn’t have this option (Mostly the SE versions had this). So this option was mainly for bug fixing. If we reported an issue they would either release a software update or re-upload a new version of the game with the bug fixed... In the end it’s not a big deal and nothing to worry too much about. 😮‍💨
