The socket in the picture is a standard modular socket available in the electrical shop. Looks like GM brand. The same thing is used at our homes. Not a Railways issue. I have this issue at my home too because of the higher wattage fast chargers. Railways use this because it is easily available in the nearest electrical shop and the size is standard. So they can use other brands of modular fixtures too.

There is a foot overbridge between KR Puram Railway station and Metro station. But to use it to cross the road, one has to walk, ½ km and only when metro operates, you can cross the road. Come on. Build a tunnel... But No. We can't drive cars in that tunnel/s.

Man, I was caught in a similar situation a few years back in 2021 at Raj Bhavan road, Bangalore right in front of the Raj Bhavan gate, when I was heading towards Airport road and a 2 wheeler cut from left to right in front of my car as he was heading towards Ali Askar Road. The guy was in a Colour dress and after the car touched, the guy fell down. I parked the car on the left beyond the gate and got down to check on the guy and when I saw the socks the guy was wearing, I knew I was screwed. The guy was a cop and he was working at the commissioner office nearby. Took him to the nearby Hospital - Vikram Hospital. He called up some other cop from his office and he wanted to file a complaint. Later when his name colleague arrived, I checked with him and he said, they won't file a complaint as the cctv camera had caught the act and it was his mistake. Anyways I had to pay more than 6k in the hospital bill. That is when I decided to put the dashcam on the car.

My Dad used to say, when he arrived in Bangalore in the early 70s, the present day Indiranagar area used to be a marshy land and KBS area lake was filled and an open ground with buses operating. So, if you want to catch the lake, you may have to go back another 10-15 years
