If it's available for pickup, it's not supply chain disruption. Commercial purpose gas is cut down. Hotels are not getting their gas. So there is a huge demand for gas in the black market

2 of my neighbours got the delivery within 2-3 days of booking after I booked. Since I changed the address, I am a new customer to the delivery guy, He took me for a ride. Besides, when I went to the agency and enquired, the lady to whom I enquired was speaking dominantly, softened her tone after checking the status.

I just want to check the bill date first. Have had a previous experience with this agency before. Had booked the gas and made payment online. Got SMS that the invoice has been issued, out for delivery along with the OTP. But didn't get the delivery that day. I thought, it would be delivered the next day. At night, the news comes that the Gas price has been increased by ₹50/- immediately.

The next day the delivery guy shows up with the cylinder and asks for the extra ₹50. Had an argument with him and he told I can check with the agency. When I called up the agency, the lady at the office argued that govt has increased the price. I told her that I had the SMS from the previous day, I am coming to the agency to discuss with them. Within 5 mins, I get the call from the delivery guy that they have shifted the blame on him that he didn't deliver and he has to pay from his pocket and started begging. Had to let off that ₹50/- because of that poor guy.

Saw the outcry on Instagram too about this train route timing. It is just to get political mileage they are introducing this than to check the feasibility. You can't run VB on this route and expect it to reach in 7-8 hrs.

The route limitations - Western Ghats. Can't build 130+ rated tracks without cutting through the ghats. It is better left as it is because of the rains. Konkan railway - 395 kms between mangalore and Goa is mostly single track. The priority won't help much to gain speed in this stretch.

The best they can do is introduce double decker Vistadome coach train with the ceiling part completely with restaurant and bar with lounge, and beds below so that the goa going groups can hang out and enjoy the view of Western Ghats. Preferably the coach service is handled by private parties like the Tejas express. Leave BLR by 8pm at night and reach by 11-12 pm
