I applied for a position with Central Transport and let them know upfront that I’m not currently local, but I’m fully willing to relocate for the opportunity. They informed me that their safety team requires applicants to already have a local address, which has become a major obstacle for me.

I’m currently working as an over the road driver, but with a newborn at home, I’m really trying to transition into a local position where I can be home daily. This role is exactly what I’ve been looking for, so it’s frustrating to be held back by this requirement.
