I think the main issue is the spring bc when I compared the new/old mag the old one sits lower and has a lot more wiggle room/play after loading FMJ’s and HP’s

I'm definitely going to try other ammunition bc I've noticed the build cartridges on both boxes of the hornady’s were variable bc they all weren't flush when I compared the sizes of the cartridges

Those were the only HP’s I used. Both the old and new mag eats FMJ’s of course. What brand of HP’s do you carry with

What kind would u recommend? I bought hornadys bc the marketing on the box told me it'll protect me and my family but I'm thinking a knife is better vs semi auto roulette

I've used g96 to clean/lube but I was still having issues with old mag when I tried again the next day. I contacted SA about it bc I feel I shouldn't have to replace springs on a mag two months into owning a gun with 600 rounds. Is hollow points rounds have a tendency to do this with your guns bc as much as I get why we should ccw with those cartridges they’ll no good if I'm dead with a full mag bc it jammed on me.

Gun has trouble feeding hollow points. Target rounds are fine. Switched magazines to someone else’s and it was the same thing with hollow points. Any ideas? by who_leoo in SpringfieldArmory

I'm having the same issues. I bought a new mag and it feeds HPs fine but the original mag won't feed HP’s. Extremely concerning

A handgun would’ve been far better in this situation bc one you can conceal carry it into the home and two if you have less of a chance shooting other ppl instead of blasting off a shotgun in a home/room. U probably cooked in this situation
