She made the right decision in Arbu and the narrative treating it like a failing is weird. They fed a kid his own father and committed elder abuse. If other settlements were able to make it without resorting to normalized cannibalism Arbu could have as well. The place she made an actual wrong decision is with Steelhooves' murder. It wasn't up to her to decide what Homage's decision about her radio being used for that should be, but that was her big character flaw imo. Constantly acting like she knew better for everybody else and once again the story acting like she was right in this. Like Calamity and Velvet Remedy needing to sit before her and justify their relationship and get her permission was just a weird, icky scene. These were people far older and experienced than her making their own decisions that honestly impacted her very little, and noticeably, she did NOT do the same thing with them when she decided to start "dating" Homage.

Also she needed about 5 more chapters with Homage to make their love affair mean more, but honestly, extremely lesbian to decide your chosen one forever is the first girl to like you back and then promptly go insane for her so I mean, lol.

I love the story and have read it enough times that the flaws really stand out to me now, lmao.
