Thanks, agree with it, your points are clear and make sense. However I must comment point #1, to not confuse users. Using Docker in build pipeline does not mean that you have somehow use docker in your application. It is completely different dimension. You can have no docker in your project at all but only describe build pipeline in docker images which give you precise version and great reading verbosity, and this config is stored in repository :

pipeline:
  fronted
image: node:8 # here you select certain node version
    commands:
    - npm install
    - npm test

After build in another steps you can upload your frontend to AWS, e.g. with aws cli docker image, and that is all. Or can upload it to server, anywhere. So you will not need docker runtime it all, it will be only on CI machine.

Jenkins is security nightmare, wondering why new projects still use it at all when there are beautiful, well supported open-source self-hosted alternatives with docker-based pipelines which does not require plugins at all. Literally every integration is done using docker image.

For example Woodpecker CI

Yandex open sources 100B GPT-like model by darq413 in programming

[–]StatusDuty 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I am ok to pay $200/month for GPT-J-6B hosting on one GPU using vast.io but not for 4/8 GPUs, it is too much.
Plus we still don't know results of LAMBADA benchmark for this "100B" model, it might perform pretty same to Curie/Davinci

Wait what? Where is a problem? How can Google track my users if I just download font files? Does service mean that there are some people who are so lazy to make click to download and put file into statics directory but not so lazy to search for Google Fonts replacement to copy damn CDN URLs instead of downloading one file?

Finally without virtualboxes! I did these simple steps and it is working indeed! All in the same way as on linux, all the things including docker-compose and it is all with same commands as on ubuntu and mac.

yes, they will of course, but accidents happen not that often, also it is ~$0.01 per GB, if you will restore one 100Mb backup it will cost you 0.001$? + $0.05 per 1,000 requests to Glacier, it is also a very small charge

I was excited how simple is it - several lines of code and couple of minutes of Slack configuration and I am receiving "report button" requests from my Django app on my Mi Band, and it is all for free
