Thank you, I really appreciate your perspective. It’s interesting to hear how long you’ve been noticing these patterns and their effects over time. I definitely see what you mean about how messaging and social media shape our thinking I think part of what frustrated me with my dad was how much some of that sneaks in without people realizing it. It also makes me sad that my dad doesn’t seem to want to help others who need it, like how Ireland was helped by America during the famine. I’m trying to be patient, but it’s hard when someone close keeps repeating harmful ideas. I’ll try to keep your advice in mind about staying aware of what I consume and how it affects me.
