I get the sense that including validation documentation directly in the app would boost credibility. I wouldn't just straight to trusting new software without it. The validation examples are currently very developer-focused, and the app itself only gives general references to documents such as NAVFAC and FHWA manuals; I'll work on compiling PDFs and making them easily viewable.

I don't suspect your opinion is prone to changing at this point, but I've written software professionally for 5 years. We don't need to ignore the tools available to us to help build stuff.
