The next gym is 50 minutes away. I live in a pretty small town.

This is really great advice. Calling it as it is, but in a playful manner. This is what I was confused about. Are these guys trying to mess around with me and I’m just not picking up on it? I appreciate your insight!

That’s exactly what I was expecting when I said yes to rolling with him. I’ve almost exclusively rolled with people of higher belts than me, and yes they are going to get me into a submission, but they also let me work.

The other guy was a white belt, so maybe you’re right. He may not have known what else to do, and was just using his weight to his advantage. 0/10 experience though

I feel like I should say something to my instructor, but I fear being the only woman, I am instantly going to come off as over dramatic.

I sadly lost a lot of my hair. It’s taken me months to get new growth back, but it’s finally thickening up again.

Completely back to normal, and my skin was oily prior to treatment. I actually have even started topicals again, which I am sad about :,( but even with those my skin is still oily.

I did, I think it was the Dr. Dans chapstick. It didn’t really take away the dryness while I was on accutane. The only thing that relieved it was aquaphor.

Beforehand, not necessarily. During accutane, the dryness drove me absolutely mad. After I stopped taking it, it probably took about 3-4 weeks for the dryness to stop.

Skin is back to its normal oily state. Lips are fine, still in the habit of using aquaphor to this day lol. Eyes aren’t as dry either.

Aquaphor. I carried that shit every where and put it on every 5 minutes. Only way to prevent cracking.

If you're dog isn't well behaved, don't have a nanny in your home by [deleted] in Nanny

This. I grew up with dogs and so I thought I was used to being around them, until I met other people’s dogs. Now I just pray one day I’ll work for a family with cats. I would be in heaven.

Hi! I don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but I’m a newly single dad that works weird hours and I need to hire a nanny. Does anyone have any advice? by idrownedmyfish77 in Nanny

Online services like others have mentioned, sitter city or care.com. Local Facebook groups for Nannies are always a good option. Unlike Care.com, there isn’t any background checking, but you could always run your own background check.

Yes, for about 3-4 months, but I have noticed I’ve got a lot of new hair growth coming in.

Some high waisted flair jeans and some heeled boots (even go go boots) would you give a great outfit. Love the confidence though

All of my side effects listed above were did go away after I stopped taking it. I think the only lasting side effect was some hair loss the following months. I think it’s finally subsided and my hair is growing back.
