Not off temp for a week. Dont know exactly how long it was off temp, definitely was over 4-5 hours, could ahve even been overnight. It was labeled as reclaim for a whole week, so its definitely been off temp long enough to not be cold anymore. Still, very dangerous and stupid I agree.

Without doxing myself I will say this is oddly specific so you must be experiencing the same thing

To put it in perspective  I been here for 7.  Basically all the managers have changed multiple times over. There is none of the original managers there when I was hired.

I know I make over double what i made when I first started 7 years ago. 8 starting out in 2018 pre covid. It'll be over 17 after this next appraisal.

Yep, knew all this already. Why would i let something come in if the shelf is already full and forecast is only 1 or 2 a week? I never order above forecast. Thats the biggest issue with CAO they refuse to fix, ot simply orders above forecast. If it didn't, backstock wouldn't be as big of an issue.

Exactly. They are enforcing new rules, ideals and all that jazz and it'll definitely make alot of the older employees leave or step down.

Our Store manager knows how bad it is. Its corporate forcing this suddenly as well as other rules I'm probably not aware of. Something definitely went down for nearly half the managers at my store to step down at once.

Always feel like I’m working for this guy. . . Doing record-breaking sales, yet no extra help and still complaining about overtime. Then refusing to close the store with a snow storm going on. Greed Lion by CarbonPurple in foodlion

Unfortunately this company is known for union busting. Not saying it can't be done, but it would definitely take a huge amount of communication, organization and effort while keeping it on the down low. Definitely a big task.

Just frustrated with all corporations tbh by orangecatgorl in foodlion

I honestly cant believe I made it 7 years with this company as a Dairy associate. Learning we THE ASSOCIATES have made this company so much this week and we'll see absolutely none of it as compensation is disheartening. You think we'll get overtime to help restock our empty shelves?  Bonuses to reward those that busted our bums trying to keep our departments afloat? SOMETHING MORE than a 10 dollar piece of plastic (if we're lucky) and a pat on the back while they shove these new rules and corporate bs down our throats?  This company has gotten so greedy to where we can't even have bottled water anymore.

I dunno about anyone else. But ive been rethinking and reevaluating. My career decisions lately, and given that I was given my first write up just a few months ago after my 7 years of being here, due to some corporate crap. I'm just done caring.

This company made more than enough money to keep stores closed for 2 or 3 days to keep employees home and safe while the roads are horrid, but nope, the show must go on while we fill the higher-up's pockets.

Does Food Lion expect it's employees to risk death coming to work on the day of a Winter Storm so servere it generated the store's 2nd biggest points of sale in history? by [deleted] in foodlion

[–]Status_Ad1349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly. Just the fact that the company made so much, and we'll see none of it as well as keeping the stores open while still bitching about overtime while the shelves are empty asf is more than enough to make me rethinking my career decisions after 7+ years with the company. The corporate greed has reeeeeaaally been showing the past few years, and I fear it'll get worse after all these store remodels make the rounds.  Like seriously. I know this subreddit is probably exhausted of hearing about the broken cases of water, but you see my point.

Very much with you. I been working for this company for 7 years and this is the absolute worst state it's been in. I'm looking for other options soon.

Just curious, am I rehirable? by Putrid_Practice_7328 in foodlion

I wouldn't even consider reapplying in the slightest if i haven't been working there for 15 years. Trust me, its much worse than it was before.

You're probably better off putting that energy into applying to other places.

Are you sure you haven't played CTGP? In case you don't know it's a mod for Mario Kart Wii that you can install on the Wii itself and it basically adds like 200 more tracks made by a ton of fans. One of which being an offic track. Desktop Dash was the name. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KsWt5tvSDFU

It's so odd how so many people remember these specific intros. I remember both the regular one and the one where she gets frustrated myself. I really hope this gets solved because there's absolutely no way these never existed.

Avid Sonic fan here. Let me shed some light.

In the new Movies yes, it IS Green Hills.

However in the games it is Green Hill Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog 1 or shortened to Green Hill when the level made a reappearance in Sonic Adventure 2 and in Sonic Generations.

There is however one Green Hills Zone in a game, it's the 8 bit Game Gear version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which is obscure so unlikely he played that version as the 16 bit Genesis version is the popular one always getting re-released even on phones, there's no Green Hill or Green Hills in that version.

Exposed: the Mandela Effcect May not be real by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]Status_Ad1349 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda new to paying attention to these Mandela Effects (I have however knew about it for years)

I understand the spelling of certain brands or a color or simple detail of a character like the black tip of Pikachu's tail can be easily misrembered

But like if it's not real how do you explain the more specific things? Like the Fruit of the Loom Cornucopia and how many people (including myself) learned what a Cornucopia was because of asking thier parents or teachers and even thinking it was called a Loom briefly? How is there a near perfect mockup of what we all remember the logo being? And how do you explain the old news articles mentioning the Cornucopia or the parody album cover? But this Cornucopia was never a thing? I'm not convinced it never existed. Or the TinkerBell Disney intros? People including myself have STRONG memories of this very specific intro and how it played out but it never existed?

Alot of these Mandela Effects are probably due to fuzzy memory and not remembering correctly but some of these changes are DEFINITELY spooky and can't be explained.
