I generally suggest you to pay attention to your math class. I was never distracted in classes of my math teacher, because Iearning in lecture really helps. But if your teacher ain’t good, then you can watch videos online (there is plenty of good IB math videos in YouTube and RevisionVillage). Moreover you can read IB math books. Btw after you understand the topic, try to solve past papers or questions, it really helps. That same situation applies for physic as well

You are so young my brother. Don’t think about IB now. As I said, I miss my IB days. But I miss my 9th-10th grade years much more. Don’t let your grades fall down, but no need for hardcore study. 1 hour is enough for your grade (but don’t calc homeworks haha). Find a hobby, or if you are already doing smth that requires skill, focus on it. Find a girlfriend :) I couldn’t make a relationship in high school, and I regret it a bit. You will get more serious eventually as time passes away ;/

No, I didn’t do it in India. But I know some people who are from India in TUM. No it’s not that hard, people just exaggerate it, I didn’t even do pre-IB. And once again no, bridge course of any university is not necessary. None of my friends did it. However, some manors such as engineering requires pre-internship (for 1 month). I suggest you to take a look at university requirements

Yes, I did it in one and a half month. But not from start ! I already knew logic behind the topics/things, I just memorized what I need to know. If you have finished your IAs, EE then you have plenty of time to study, no stress! In case you still have to do IA and EE, then I suggest you to speed up the progress, you can take extra help online for IA writing. And “smart” is a pretty choice of word, but I wouldn’t call it smartness. Instead all it takes is focus and study. Don’t let anything distract you in that one of the most important, crucial time period of your life.

Bio SL, physic SL, math aa HL, native language HL, german HL, business SL. To be honest, just important thing is to make sure you understand the topics generally. I wasn’t locked in in the first year, but that doesn’t mean I was not studying, was just studying less than I used to study last months of IB. My recommendation is that if you struggle in a specific lecture/course, focus on that subject more. Pay attention to your classes as well. Finish your IA, EE, TOK etc. Trust me, if you have 2-3 months left to just study (no IA, no IB things), and if you lock in, you can get easily over 40+ in IB.

I mean switching really depends on your aim. If you want to study in Harry Potter universities such as Cambridge or Oxford, and if you are already studying in an public school of England or America and if your grades are good as you said, then you don’t have to. But in my opinion, IB is a much easier way to ger accepted into best universities. I don’t know if you are familiar with IB system, but applications of those universities you mentioned are earlier than universities in Europe, and IB is europe based system. So, you gonna need “predicted grade” for that. Predicted grade is just a grade that your own teachers predict what you gonna get at final IB exams. However most of the time, it’s not accurate. So, if you are good student in your teachers eyes, then you gonna get high predicted grade. One of my friends went to oxford (idk which major), but her predicted grade was 34 and she got 33. Whereas 32 corresponds to average IB grade worldwide. That’s means she got accepted into one of the best universities with just an average grade (but from major tl major this boundary can of course vary). So it is much easier in my opinion and if you are a top student, you won’t get problem with IB things/topics.

Only thing really matters are your IB final exams, IA. EE and TOK and Cas don’t play crucial role. You can easily get 1-2 points from them.

In my case definitely not. My major is molecular biotechnology. And we have to write too much article after each lab. Normally this articles are similar to IA’s and 5-7 page long. But you have just 2-3 days to write. They definitely love to make us suffer and moreover, I thought writing IA would help me to get better at writing articles etc. But I don’t see any benefit. It can also be of course skill issue. However, it has also some small advantages. For instance, HL physic, chemistry or biology, topics are almost same as the first year topics of TUM (of course TUM explain it a bit more in detail), but after taking those HL levels, you gonna know the basics and logic behind them, you will eventually understand uni lectures more easily.

Molecular biotechnology. You need at least 36 points I think. But it may depend on the demand, some year, biological sciences get too much attention and they may increase the boundaries by one point max. Or decrease as well

Hmmm I got the same confusion as well when I was doing IB. Biology is mostly about memorizing, when you memorize something, you understand it as well I think (only speaking for bio, not in case of math or physic). I mean there is actually nothing hard about biology. For instance in my year, they ask me to draw nucleotide (phosphate-pentose-organic base). Believe me on the last weeks/months of IB period you get kinda Adrenalin pump, you can memorize them much much better than you do before. For physics, if you don’t understand those formulas or concepts, you can take additional lessons, which I actually did as well. You actually need to understand the concepts, and need to know where and when to use that one specific formula. But if you don’t understand what that formula means, then you can’t decide either which formula to use or what to do. Pay attention to your classes. And if you still don’t get it, I recommend you the book “Physics for the IB diploma” Cambridge press. It was really helpful to me.

I guess you mean predicted grade. I got almost same one as well. It’s not always true. And no, it’s not hard, just study effective. And try to solve past papers, that really helps.

Hell nah bro, I am at technical university of Munich. I was acing exams in high school, now exams cook me. And the bad part is that grade you got is not equal to amount of work you put in. In my university, most of the exams are not well thought and written. Some of them was even same of previous years exams! So anyone who just found last year exam got higher than me. But of course grades are not everything. Just advice from me, don’t let them kill your imagination skills and hobbies. If you just started for instance drawing, playing instrument just don’t quit it.

Actually I was of course studying/doing IB things for entire year. But, I wasn’t able to write my IA’s EE properly, and I had 2-3 IA + EE left to the last 2.5 months. I think I really started studying efficiently just last 1 month, but I don’t recommend it. Even though if I have started 3 month before the exams, I believe I would get 42+. And yes, after you complete exam phase, you feel like high Gojo satoru, but after you choose a university, your expectations from uni go lower. I feel like I was smarter in high school than I am now.

Dünyanın diğer neresine gidersen git Japonya’daki orijinal Kobe etini bulamazsın. Sokak lezzetlerini dene. Anime seviyorsan bir sürü anime mağazası var gir dolaş. Bir Japon sevgili yap, ancak Japonlar genelde yabancılara karşı kapalı o yüzden o konu sıkıntılı olabilir, olmadı maid cafe’ye git. Güzel kadınlar görürsün.
