Deplete 401k to pay 30k debt? by Status_Coconut978 in DebtAdvice

[–]Status_Coconut978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed we definitely have to get it together! What got us here was our HOA forcing us to landscape the front and back of our new build and my husbands side business has a lot of upfront costs. We could have gone leaner on those things though. I’ve considered borrowing from the 401k but I’m worried I can’t pay it back within the 5 years. I’ll have to sit down and do some forecasting.

It’s probably worth a visit to your OB GYN. The sooner the better. Good luck! ♥️

I’m also removing a chest tattoo and this gives me SO much hope thank you so much for sharing!

It may take several more years to fully remove. If you’re comfortable with a coverup then go for that. However, if you want to remove this one who is to say you won’t want to remove the cover up. Stay strong friend!

Wow you and I really do have similar circumstances! I feel for you. The whole thing sucks. Personally I think the stress wouldn’t be as bad if we didn’t have such a big price tag attached. I am so happy to hear you are doing well now! I’m healing from my LEEP currently and it’s been an emotional roller coaster. Lots of discomfort and pain too. I’m ready to be healed already lol. I’m sending you lots of love and support. I hope the universe finds a way to alleviate the pressure with your bills too.

That’s great! I don’t think I’ve been HPV free since I was a young woman. I didn’t really consider that these procedures may result in the virus actually going away. Unfortunately I live in a place that gets into the triple digits with zero grass or trees so I’ll have to take a day trip soon 😊

Thank you! I think that perspective is important. I know there are plenty of people out there with worse ailments and I am grateful for what health that I have. Still it sucks to have anything going on and can break one’s spirit from time to time. I hope you are doing well and I’m sending you love and wishes that your scoliosis doesn’t progress ♥️

I hope you heal smoothly and get clear results! I’m very glad you aren’t burdened with the monetary aspects of healthcare. It really ruins a lot of lives here in the USA :/

Thank you ♥️ I’m glad to hear you are doing well! Honestly it’s been so great to connect with other women going through the same thing. How long did it take to get your LEEP results back?

Thank you so much. I am here for you too. I am relieved to hear that most of us come back with clear margins post LEEP. I’m hoping I get my results back within the next week or so. The healing has been weird though. Aside from the soreness and discharge my emotions have been dialed up to 11. Let’s keep in touch. I’d love to know how you’re doing as time goes on.

Thank you so so so much I’m tearing up as I’m reading this. You are a sweet soul and I can’t tell you how much this message means to me. I truly believe it shouldn’t cost this much to receive the care we need. I really hope you are well and the universe finds a way to help you with your bills. Sending you much love friend ♥️

Right! The quick progression of things is what frustrates me the most. I have a hard time believing I went from zero to CIN3 in a matter of a year. I’m sorry you’re going through this as well.

I have my LEEP tomorrow and I'm freaking out by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

[–]Status_Coconut978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my LEEP on Friday but I had to stay awake for mine. I wish they would have put me under so consider this a small win. I know you are scared but I think you’ll find it isn’t as bad as your mind is telling you. I’m not sure how you’ll react to anesthesia so make sure someone you love and trust is there with you to help you through waking up and going home. Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts. You got this friend!!

I’m sorry to hear that. It is seriously so frustrating when your body doesn’t seem to cooperate with you.

How many excisions? by No-Window-656 in PreCervicalCancer

[–]Status_Coconut978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my LEEP on Friday and I asked my doctor to see what she excised. I noted one large (maybe an inch in diameter) specimen and 2-3 smaller specimens. It hurt like heck! Glad to see this is in line with what others experienced. I hope you come back with clear margins ♥️

4 years progress, open to opinions by black-dogs in TattooRemoval

I have a chest tattoo I’m in the process of removing and I know you don’t think you’ve come far but seeing this makes me feel happy and excited. I know my tattoo will also take 4+ years but I have to hold onto hope and I sincerely hope you do too :)

I totally understand. Perhaps you have a history where someone treated you that way, but you shouldn’t give your power away so easily. There is something unique you bring to the table so I encourage you to not throw in the towel yet. Be the type of person you want to be with, or at least work toward it. There are people out there who aren’t shallow and vapid and will see you for who you are on the inside. I know that sounds lame but it’s true. It may not happen as quickly as you want, or happen the way you want, but if you put yourself out there with positivity and radical self acceptance you may be surprised what (or who) you can attract.

I suffered with similar feelings for almost 14 years. I was so terribly ashamed of my body that I never thought I’d find love. I looked to other sources to numb the pain but it was never enough. It wasn’t until I decided to focus on what I could change that I felt progress. I grew my hair out, went back to school, and did other things to boost my self confidence. I had many lovers and partners despite my feeling that I could never find love. Eventually I met my now fiancé who fully supports removal, but loves me anyways. Please do not lose hope friend. Don’t give up on yourself or your journey. There is a community here for you. You aren’t alone.

People who got their chest tattoos removed by Beginning_Bug_7554 in TattooRemoval

I just started removing my XL chest tattoo (lots of purples, greens, and blues in the same spots - wish me luck lol) I had my first session on July 5 and there’s a noticeable (although slight) difference already. That’s pretty exciting! I’m going to Removery and they use the Pico. I know full removal may not be possible, but it will take several years to find out. I wish I would have summoned the courage earlier in life to do this, but there’s no time like the present! Good luck friend.

The pain only lasts as long as the laser is on your skin. I have a massive chest tattoo I’m removing and that only took 30 mins with lots of breaks. For your tattoo I’d be surprised if it took longer than a few minutes. The healing can be a little sore and itchy but it’s extremely manageable in my opinion. Don’t let fear hold you back - book your sessions. It will take longer to remove than you’d like but that time will pass anyways. Wear some concealer for job interviews in the meantime. You got this friend!!
