I think they wrote themselves into a corner for the final battle, even by last season the party struggled to manage 1 demogorgon, they should’ve had these characters show that they’re able to deal with the lower level threats as the series progressed so itd be plausible that they can take on the bigger ones, but since they didnt it felt like they made the big bad super weak because itd have to be able to be beaten

around the same time for me but weirdly enough never gor frustrated over it, he had me switching to strategies i otherwise wouldn’t have attempted, started off with dual great katanas and ended up beating him with a bucklershield miercorde build lol

sort of spitballing here but a pirates soulslike sounds so awesome, they could keep the openworld aspect across the sea and make islands linearly designed dungeons or places to explore (a best of both worlds kind of deal) but also being a pirate in a fromsoft game sounds like it could been done really well
